Brakes items of customers and then blocks them.

Shocked to learn that the shop doesn’t just break items belonging to customers, -but then blocks them from any form of contact to avoid repair, replacement or reimbursement. My nephew took his cherished AEG into the shop in good faith, for what should’ve been a straightforward repair and possible bit of customisation. The shop owner failed to fix the gun in any timely fashion, letting it sit around indefinitely for weeks. Then it became clear that the shop owner had actually snapped off the fore grip from the barrel (which in itself would require a great level of incompetence and thoughtlessness to do so). Instead of confessing this mistake with what should’ve also been an instant offer to source any replacement part and cover the cost, the shop owner arrogantly suggested my nephew should undertake all of that work, cost and burden himself (despite it not being his fault). In reality and greater fairness, the shop owner should have offered a further full replacement AEG (because the spare part is not freely available for what was actually a rather collectible model). My nephew is naturally hugely disappointed and upset. He also has to spend so much time working which is otherwise usurped looking after his baby girl. And this is what frustrates me even further with the shop owner, is essentially he now relies on the greater decency of my nephew to continue being such a renegade low quality service provider himself. That is a false economy that clearly needs to be exposed both to the shop owner and other potential victims down the line. Because this will be one of so many similar reviews that will be forthcoming of this outstanding case in weeks and months to come on forums and websites such as this. Shame on the shop owner.

What a let down

I am sure I am not allowed to use swear words but calling the owner a crook it should be allowed. I gave him an item for repair (to send back to the manufacturer) and for five months he only lied to me. He blamed the manufacturer and delivery company when, in fact, the item never left his store. He probably thought I was going to forget about it!
