I would give it Zero stars if I could
I spent over $4,000 on what I expected would be a brand-new adjustable bed and mattress. Instead, I've dealt with deception, poor customer service, and what appears to be extremely questionable business practices.
My original adjustable bed had multiple issues. The massage mechanism was faulty, the mattress was not firm enough, and, most importantly, I specifically stated that I did not want a floor model. After the delivery, I discovered that the mattress I received was a floor model. My receipt even confirmed it.
When I returned to the Woodbridge store, I was told that the mattress I originally ordered had been discontinued. Rather than informing me of that before delivery, they simply substituted a floor model without my knowledge or consent.
I selected a different mattress that cost more, resulting in an additional $1,300 charge. During that visit, the salesperson casually commented, "You'd be surprised who returns mattresses." At the time, I didn't think much of it.
Unfortunately, that comment now seems very telling.
When my replacement mattress arrived, it was still wrapped in plastic, but the manufacturer tags had already been removed. After inspecting it, I immediately noticed two body indentations in the middle of the mattress—one noticeably deeper than the other. It looks exactly like a mattress that had already been slept on and returned by another customer.
Considering the salesperson's earlier comment and the condition of the mattress, I genuinely believe I was sold a returned mattress as if it were new.
When I called the store, I was told the delivery drivers probably removed the tags in the truck. That explanation makes no sense since the mattress was still sealed in plastic when it was brought into my home.
The store then sent an inspector to my house. He immediately acknowledged that he could see the two indentations. He placed a measuring device across the mattress, said he would submit his findings, and left.
The next day, I contacted the store only to be told that the inspector reported there was nothing wrong with the mattress.
How does someone acknowledge visible indentations in my home and then report the exact opposite?
Raymour & Flanigan advertises a 100-night comfort guarantee, yet when there is an obvious issue, they refuse to stand behind their product.
Between delivering a floor model without my consent, what appears to be a used mattress sold as new, inconsistent inspection results, and customer service that takes three or more business days to respond, I have completely lost confidence in this company.
I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, and disputing this charge with my credit card company.
Consumers spending thousands of dollars deserve honesty, transparency, and quality products. That is not what I received from the Woodbridge Raymour & Flanigan.
I will never purchase from this company again, and I strongly encourage others to inspect every item carefully before accepting delivery.
Pick up at the warehouse
Pick up at the warehouse. The piece of furniture was literally thrown off the dock into my truck before I was even near enough to assist. Felt sure there was potential damage from the mishandling. There was zero time afforded to look over my purchase. The bottom felt on the chaise is poorly stapled to the bottom. Much of the staples are not firmly in place and one entire side is torn off. This looks like an outlet item not a showroom purchase. Zero stats if I could.

Lift chair not working came to look at it July 1 said nothing wrong. Broke a week later waiting for someone to come out. Said either remote or a part that would take 3 months to get. I paid cash and bought 5 year warranty.i am handicapped and can’t get up without it. I live by myself

Mattress Reselection
JD helped us reselect a mattress after first purchasing one with the wrong characteristics for our sleep habits. He was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable with the various aspects of the mattresses. He wasn't trying to sell us the most expensive mattress, yet the one that best fit our needs and budget.

when I went to the Poughkeepsie store, first of all I was told there was a Odelle Loveseat there by an employee in the Kingston store. there was not.
Then when I went to order the loveseat, I was told, since I had a gift card that was not with me, and wanted to order it on the phone. I could not do that. Then, when I went on line and called, a man did in fact take my order on the phone, using a link. so why did the store manager in Poughkeepsie not think of that? ridiculous

Lucky was exceptional. After introductions , he was there when we needed him and at the same time gave us soace to lllok around the new store. Found something we liked. Everything well explained. procedure & delivery explained. pricing clearly explained and checkout was easy. R&F was the only one of 4 furniture stores that had a 95" one cushion sofa . Delivery made today and all could not have been easier. No mistakes, no upcharges, great service. Seems like sofa is well made. Very impressed. Hugh & Susan C
Pleasant, knowledgable & helpful
The sales associate met me at the door. Nice pleasantries exchanged. Directed me to what I was looking for and he followed up. Explained everything and he even gave helpful suggestions for the furniture. Everyone was pleasant. I love my choice and the price even better. The prices are reasonable. Happy Customer. I am already referring this store to friends.

I did everything online. It went smoothly but the information for using leasing was a bit different by $2k. So I spent a couple hours on the phone trying to understand the process. I still can’t say that I understand. But whatever. I need a new couch. Just hope it’s not late.
