King of the LEAKERS abysmal customer service

They literally don't care, and they know there product is garbage. To make it worse there customer service is AI.My batteries are still in the package with a May 2026 useful date, and they all corroded. To make things worse they asked me for 8 different things like numbers on the battery that means I would have to spend time doing what they should have done.Beat this they want you to fumble with these toxic batteries to provide numbers.BUT it states that its dangerous to send it in the mail..Does it get any worse!!!!!!

The packaging is AWFUL!!!

The packaging is AWFUL!!!!
I have always had good luck with the brand, but when I purchased this batch and this packaging is awful, I am a senior and my hands don't have the strength that I used to have, so cutting the heavy plastic off is really hard to do.
What's sad is that I have already opened the package, so I cannot return them to get another brand that has an easier opening, I purchased a 24 pkg. so I will use these up and will NOT be purchasing this again unless the packaging changes!

I can't get them out of the package without cutting my fingers every time.…

I have been using Rayovac hearing aid batters for about 20 + years and have always been pleased. Now I CANNOT open the packages . I returned them to CVS and they could not get them out either, We both ended up cutting ourselves with the edges before we could get them to come out. I am 85 yrs. old and need them badly. I have always used your brand. I understand that you don't want children to get at them and get hurt, but the hundreds of us in my Senior Park wish you could make them easier for seniors. I use # 312 batteries and don't want to find a new brand at this point in my life. I get about 10 days use out of each pair and then replace them. It has become very expensive to purchase them. I used to be able to buy them from the company, but that has stopped . Please try to help me out. I can't go without them. Thank you and God bless. If I could give no star.........

If I could give no star, I would. Like so many others, the service is terrible. I bought a 36 pack of AAA batteries and found the whole box corroded when I went to use them -- well before the guaranteed 10 years. I called 4 times and sent everything they asked -- and to three different emails as the info never seemed to reach their inbox. Our internet carrier investigated and said the error was on their end. I spent a lot of time (over a month) with this and got no satisfaction. I even asked to speak to a manager - guess what, none available but he would call back (did not). Their word and their product guarantee is apparently no good. As someone else stated, they keep you on the hook until you get tired and say forget it. I will NEVER buy another rayovac product. I suggest others follow suit.

RAYVOC ARE LIARS

DON'T EVER USE RAYVOC HIGH-ENERGY BATTERIES, THEY CORRODE AFTER LESS THAN A YEAR. THE COMPANY MAKES YOU JUMP THROUGH HOOPS GIVING THE INFORMATION AND THEY GIVE A LAME EXCUSE AS TO WHY THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE WARNETEE. CHECK THIS OUT SAY IF YOU USE BATTERIES WITH DIFFERENT EXPIRATION DATES THAT IS WHAT CAUSED IT. THAT HAS TO BE THE DUMBEST EXCUSE EVER.

Rayovac 312 batteries aren't accessible

I've used Rayovac 312 hearing aid batteries for several years and until recently been happy with them. However the last batteries packaging has made opening them next to impossible. Rayovac should consider that the majority of those who use hearing aids are well into their senior years - I am 84. Although I'm old, I have good dexterity. It has taken me an inordinate amount of time and have incurred injured fingers to get the batteries out from the packaged card. If there is a technique to make accessing the batteries possible, please disseminate it to everyone. If Rayovac can't provide a simpler way to access the batteries, then you must change the packaging and recall the current ones. Are your competitors making the same mistake? One solution might be to have the plastic much thinner and cuttable than is around each battery.

Rayovac Batteries & Guarantees are Junk

Exact same experience as others. They claim to guarantee that their batteries won't damage your device, but when they do damage your device, they make you jump through hoops before they will make good on their guarantee. I sent them three photos showing the leaked batteries, the expiration date on the batteries of 2030 (six years from now), and the clear and substantial damage to my device. They responded by sending me a laundry list of photos and information that I must submit prior to them honoring their guarantee. They clearly are just trying to make it such a pain in the neck to get reimbursed that people will give up.

My Rayovac batteries corroded in my…

My Rayovac batteries corroded in my handheld GPS device, so I made a claim. And as another claimant said the unused ones corroded in the package.
Rayovac did absolutely everything they could to put me off. It took weeks of communication and cost. I removed them from all my flashlights, devices etc.
A couple weeks later, I couldn't open my gun safe. Same issue. Made a claim. They rejected my claim on the basis that I should have removed those batteries too. Agreed, but come on....
They made no offer to even reimburse me for the unused batteries or postage for that matter.
I have copies of pictures and emails should there ever be an investigation. There is a deeper, wider quality control problem here.
BOTTOM LINE: Poor quality product, don't stand behind their products and totally horrible customer service.

AA and AAA batteries corrode in their…

AA and AAA batteries corrode in their packaging. I bought a number of multipacks that went bad before their expiration date. They sent me coupons which aren't good in many stores like Costco and Sam's and they expired in 3 months. I wasn't able to redeem them in that time so they were going to send me replacements which I never received. When I contacted them again about this they said I waited too long. I wasted a lot of money on their crappy batteries and the gave me a very short time to redeem coupons that didn't even cover the cost of comparable replacement then refused to make them good. Duracell is a better bet or just by the cheap no-name brands. They are all made in China given Rayovac doesn't care about customer support better to give it a company that doesn't charge for its name.
