Reading Wise the definition of garbage

Reading Wise the definition of garbage, time wasting and is an absolute joke. Teachers keep shoving it down our throats, claiming it’ll make us “smarter,” but it does nothing but waste our time. The platform is repetitive, cheap, mind-numbing, and utterly pointless. It doesn’t help with vocabulary, doesn’t make reading more fun, and it just makes you hate the whole process including reading which is THE WHOLE POINT! The worst part, If you don’t finish it, teachers will yell at you and punish you like it’s the most important thing in the world, when in reality, it’s just a complete waste of energy. This whole system is a joke, and I don’t understand why anyone thinks it’s a good idea. There are so many better ways to improve your reading skills without being tortured by this nonsense. Our teachers say we shouldn't waste 'valuable' time and instead focus on revision and homework when in reality nothing on this website can help us at all in our school lives, in public or even future careers. It is pathetic the hypocrisy that people can hold and just boycott this Nonsense.

Want to revise words? Just read books

This is useless for learning new vocab. It insanely repetitive and all you need to do is memorise the word order for a few minutes, using the first letter of each word, to finish a task. Couple that with common sense or Google for definitions, and you have a recipe for mundane homework that has no use other than to waste student's time AND encouraging students to have a negative attitude towards vocabulary, making a generation that already doesn't want to red make them avoid it even more. Funnily enough, this website takes up time that I could use to revise for an exam or enrich my vocabulary by reading, but instead is a waste of time that takes up the time I set aside to read ORV. Thanks, Readingwise. Touche.

absolutely TRASH.

The website has very repetitive words and a very repetitive mechanic to the website.
You need to do it twice when you finish a word batch.

THIS WEBSITE IS HORRIBLE

THIS WEBSITE IS HORRIBLE! THE ICON BOOK OPENS FOR ONLY ABOUT WHAT..? 5 SECONDS LIKE WTH...

SOME OF THE WORDS ARE SAID SO QUIETLEY THAT EVEN THE PERSON WITH THE BEST HEARING CANT HEAR...

THEY TRY THEIR BEST TO CREATE THE WEBSITE FUN AND EDUCATING BUT I SWEAR ITS NOT AT ALL

ALSO WHY THE QUIZ ALLOWS RANDOM WORDS TO BE PAIRED UP WITH WRONG DEFINATIONS?

Therefore thats why it deserves a 1 star

Horrendous

ReadingWise. The name alone promises enlightenment, but what it delivers is two hours of your life every week you’ll never get back. It’s a compulsory homework nightmare disguised as “literacy improvement.” In reality, it’s just an endless loop of dull tasks that achieve absolutely nothing — except making your soul slowly wilt in sorrow.

Every session feels like watching your motivation drain away in real time. You don’t come out smarter; you come out exhausted, dazed, and wondering who thought this was a good idea. ReadingWise doesn’t teach reading — it teaches regret.
