I had never heard of RecordClick until I started searching for alternatives to the major genealogy research firms. I had used them several times, usually with solid results. However, they tend to offer standard-size packages running into the thousnds of dollars. That was OK for some things, but not for the highly focused research that I needed. I gave RecordClick three very difficult challenges, one of them virtually impossible. Within a week or two I had very credible and extensive results on two of them. The third (impossible) one provided confirmation that it was not productive to pursue it further. The process lasted days instead of months, and I was in constant communication with David, the researcher, who made me feel like I was part of his team. The major companies still have their place, but RecordClick fills a niche in cases where cost is a concern and "highly likely" is a good enough answer that meets genealogical proof standards.

Overall I am happy I found this company to help me find what I was looking for. You research but you never know for sure what you are going to get. Kim is highly knowledgable, communication was great, and she goes out of her way to find extras for you. The information, documents, and ancestral tree work is excellent. I would want to work with Kim again for anything I needed or wanted further. She is highly competent and appreciated.

Dr. Kim Aldridge did an awsome job piercing a brick wall I struggled with for many years. She specializes in DNA geneology and not only discovered my true great grandfathers line but also followed and validated it back to the early settlers of the mid 1600's.

RecordClick offers you the same quality as the more expensive services found at the more obvious ancestry and DNA websites but at a much better price. And they are honest about estimated time to complete a project. I never felt pressured to buy more time and the justifiable additional time was offered at a discount..

RecordClick listened carefully to exactly that I was looking for and focused on those exact items/area I was interested in opposed to just supplying something in general. Great communication between myself and Joyce who was assigned to my case. What I asked for was what Joyce was able to deliver unless, of course, the information just did not exist. RecordClick has a great software in house system that we use to communicate with each other. In the basic 5 hours of service I purchased the results exceeded my expectations.

My wife was adopted at age two, and for an unknown reason her birth records were sealed. But her adoption decree, signed by a judge in 1946, listed the names of her birth parents. She always wondered who they were. I found RecordClick online and and hired them to hopefully find the parents. And Quentin Wells did! The work he did was incredibly thorough and gave her so much information that she is satisfied that she now knows everything she has always wanted to know. Thank you again, Quentin.

In a nutshell, I have been VERY happy with RecordClick. When I first came across RecordClick, I was a little unsure about using an online service, but RecordClick and especially Kim came through with flying colors, actually far exceeding anything I could have wished for. I now have an amazing collection of documents and photos that I would never have discovered on my own, and -- in addition to the Revolutionary War-era links Kim established for me -- I’ve been introduced to a number of intriguing relatives in various branches of the family through the generations that I knew nothing about before. I definitely feel like I got a lot for my money!

Susan did a great job.I wanted to know where my Great Grandparents and my Grandmother and two Great aunts that I grew up with came from in Germany. I got what I wanted and more.When I was younger i always wanted to go where they came from but they were so young and so long ago they didn't know. Now with the excellent work of Susan and Record Click my dream may come true.I would use Record Click again.

Complex DNA Issues Advanced

I was looking for the father of an adopted child. DNA Tests at A.com offered results, but not enough to resolve the issue. Kim, my case agent, was all over it suggesting other DNA Data Bases to cross check. This new information suggested by Kim advanced the ball significantly, finding new possible DNA Tree candidates and eliminating others.

Kim was great keeping me up to date with the research.

I simply cannot say enough how AMAZING this experience has been! I'm not one to typically write reviews but had to in this case. My father is turning 80 and I really wanted to surprise him with a family tree. We only know roughly where his father and mother came from in Italy. I spent HOURS trying to research on my own and got nowhere! Took a chance with RecordClick and it is AMAZING what they found!! A few times our consultant hit road blocks due to privacy laws, gave me a link to order a death certificate, and was able to get even farther! Overall they were able to get SEVEN levels up - I was hoping for 2 or 3! The output was amazing and communication was fantastic throughout. If you are even considering doing this - JUST.DO.IT! :)

I agree with all the previous reviews of this company. From their opening response (within hours of my inquiry) and throughout the entire process with my assigned researcher, Kim, the experience was professional, comprehensive and well-worth the reasonable charge for their services. Kim was so impressive--she managed to find information (and data) that no one in the family had ever even known had existed. And she also went beyond the facts--providing knowledgeable context and narratives that were both credible and extremely easy to understand. I would not hesitate to contact Kim and this company again for future projects!!!

I would not only recommend this company - I would urge you to do this. The case worker assigned to my case was wonderful - so responsive and so knowledgeable. It is a wonderful journey of discovery and I am thrilled I worked with this company. I signed up for more sessions just to keep digging deeper!

I have been working with Record Click now for several years and have found them to be very professional and diligent in their work. I can be somewhat of a high maintenance client in the fact that I enjoy collaborating with the researchers as the progress through the process. This means they have to be willing to communicate with me frequently with updates and so I can ask questions. I am happy to report, that my researchers have been very willing to do this and I feel our collaboration has helped in the research results.
