Roaches on bed

I visited your location in 1006 W Calton Rd, Laredo, TX 78041. It was a horrible experience! First off all I was in Laredo because my grandmothers funeral was there. I traveled 3hrs checked in at around 430p to change for the funeral. Left the room and did not go back into the room until about 11pm. That's when I discovered roaches. Not one but several. They were on the bed on the desk area. I checked out and complained immediately. Front desk wanted to accommodate me by moving me into another room. Would you want to stay in that hotel if you seen roaches? I booked through booking.com so I had to get my refund through them. General Manager Idalia Escamilla was no help at all. Was not sympathetic at all and refused to refund me my full amount. She claimed that the room was used. How was the room used if I was at a funeral all evening? I know there's cameras to prove the times I arrived and left to the funeral. This happened November 8th and still fighting with RedRoof Inn just to get only HALF of my payment back. Idalia refused to give me my full refund back. She charged me a cancelation fee which was charging me a full nights stay. This is not right and would like my full refund for the inconvenience Idalia and her hotel have caused me.

Red roof cruiseport location is a joke

Red roof cruiseport location is a joke, front desk staff needs to be taught how to better speak to customers, and learn better hospitality. They front desk needs to ask for better training on how to do reservations. Also they need to not have an attitude when a Customer is only asking for information. I have to refrain myself from going 0-3000 real quick on there day time front desk and to keep myself from going to jail. While all the time other Customers was having the same problems.we stay for 3 days and whole time front desk gave us a problem and kept locking us out of our room and when you either call or go to the front desk to book another night she claims she's too busy doing other things when all awhile she is on her phone talking and laughing with someone else on the other end of the phone. When you speak to people you need not speak with a nasty attitude, if you don't like your job then you need to be looking for another job.

Don't stay here unless you are desperate.

Red Roof Inn Morrow (Morrow GA)
1. Staff personnel at check-in were very unresponsive when I asked them questions, actually rude.
2. Trash cans outside were overflowing.
3. Trash in the stairwells.
4. Only 1 small trashcan in the room.
5. Only 2 small pillows on a king size bed.
6. Asked for an extra bath towel, received a bath floor mat and a towel with a shoe print on it
7. No toilet tissue or cups in the room. Had to ask for both of those.
8. Sheets were torn.
9. Comforter and towels were paper-thin.
10. Something sticky was on the nightstand by the window.
11. Dust was on the nightstand shelves.
12. Dirty washcloth was left hanging on the shower curtain.
13. The bed was soft on the edges, but hard in the middle.
14. The hotel staff must have written the reviews that I read for this place. There is no way that this should have received 4-stars. The only reason we booked this hotel was due to the reviews that it had recently received.
15. This seems more like a vagrant hotel and should not even be considered a 1-star hotel.
My husband and I feel that Red Roof should remove their name from this location as it is not even close to the normal standards of a Red Roof Inn.

They charged me $100 after I checked…

They charged me $100 after I checked out from a one night quick stay. When I noticed weeks later, I called and questioned why. I was told the manager deals with this, she will call you. Never did. I contacted my debit card company they said they couldn't get any response. I have emailed and filed complaits and now they're looking into it. Supposedly damage was done. Nope! I had no problems with 10 airbnbs, three Best Westerns, the 21 housesits and all the other places I've stayed in the past year. This one time at a place like this and management steals and says "damage".

We stayed at Red Roof inn in Hartselle

We stayed at Red Roof inn in Hartselle, Alabama. It was fabulous. Valerie at the front desk is an absolute delight. She is what any business owner would want as the face of their company. She was so knowledgeable about the area and kind to my service dog. She deserves praise for her dedication and customer service.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Peoria

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Peoria, Illinois on 11/19/22. I checked in around 330 and then came back to stay for evening about 10 pm. My room was musty and smelled like smoke, but beds looked clean. I left the room on Sunday 11/20/22 before 11 am check out time. I went back on 11/21/22 to rent another room due to my heat being out. I booked on Priceline and when I went to check in, I was told I was on a Do Not Rent list. I had to call the manager the next day to see why. The first story was that there were cigarette butts all over room. I do not smoke and then the 2nd story was that I had an issue Saturday night. There were none and the the 3rd story is that I was refusing to leave on Sunday and was forced out by 11:30. I called the manager to find out if she had anymore information today (11/27) and was told I left the room , but left another person on there that was on drugs. I was the only one there. This is crazy and the facility is pretty disgusting.

This stay was awful!

This stay was awful!! I stayed at the Asheville West location for 3 weeks because I was having some problems and needed a place to stay with my kids. Customer service there suck!! I would book online to avoid them!!Scott the day shift manager tried to put my kids out after I had a talk with him and he knew that I was having issues with my credit card. (They didn’t accept American Express)He waited for me to leave to then go and harasse my kids telling them they needed to get out. He knew that I was out trying to get my credit card info situated as this was not the first day that I had this problem. I will NEVER stay here again REGARDLESS of my situation and don’t recommend this hotel. Housekeeping and Sabrina I absolutely loved. The rest of the staff 🤮. DONT DO IT!!

The Red roof corporation is racist against disabled people they should be shut down

This company doesn't care about people who have had problems with their stays. I am 100% disabled and had a massive problem with one of their hotels in Phoenix, and when I complain to Red roof they just basically laughed it off. After I explained my problem all they told me was sorry we can't do anything about it. When I got to the hotel they were completely out of water in the whole hotel. The lady behind the counter who was the manager at the time laughed it off and kept on saying would you still like to stay here and I said what and her response was who needs water. I even called the hotel from the airport when I landed in Phoenix and they told me my room was ready they didn't even have the guts to tell me over the phone that there was no water in the hotel. I was not able to stay there because of the conditions we couldn't find another hotel for a couple of hours as I said I'm 100% disabled my nerve damage went crazy I ended up being so upset with them and the way they treated me I had to go to the hospital to get a shot to calm me down and still the corporate office people for Red roof did not care at all they said that didn't even matter and they weren't even going to talk to me about it. If I could go and stand for eight or nine hours in a row I would fly back to Phoenix and protest in front of their hotel but unfortunately I can't stand that long. I would hope that all the disabled people that are able to read this boycotts any other Red roofs businesses. At least as of today 5 days after the problem Americans with disability have reached out to me they're going to represent me. All I asked Red roof corporation was to refund my money and pay for my extra expenses that I had to pay. They laughed and said no it's not our problem. Well there's soon to find out that they can't treat disabled people like that.

Disgusting

First the appearance is unkempt: peeling paint on exterior, poorly repaired walls and peeling wallpaper. The attendant stays on his phone and acts annoyed when you ask him a question. Our room hadn’t been cleaned, and we told him we wanted the room clean and he asked why. There are sketchy looking people talking/cussing outside until late at night. You get one skinny towel per person and tiny cheap soap. And it’s shocking how high the price is for this description.

I wish I could give no stars.

My husband and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn and Suites in Madison, GA. I don’t even know where to begin. First off, When we got there, no one was at the front desk for over ten minutes as we called, knocked, etc. Finally, Freddy appeared. He was friendly and very likeable. We enjoyed visiting with him while we were being checked in, but he seemed to not know how to run the check in process on the computer, even though he has apparently been working there for awhile. It took more than half an hour to check in, even though we had reservations. The lobby was nice enough, but the overall smell of marijuana and crack was a bad sign. But our reservation was non-refundable. There was loud music from some room down the hall from us. Prostitutes were entertaining “guests”, and I am pretty sure I witnessed a drug deal going down in the parking lot. There was drug paraphernalia left in the parking lot. On Friday night, there was a literal beer party in the hall right outside our door. I would have called the front desk to complain, but when I looked out the peep hole into the hallway, the front desk guy was one of the partiers. They were drunk as skunks and loud until after 1:00.
There was no phone in the room. I saw no smoke alarm. The refrigerator did not work. The floor had a sticky white substance in various places that I suspect had a great deal of DNA in it. The floor was sticky. I had to go buy slippers because I did not want to go barefoot, nor did I want to ruin my socks. There were nasty stains on the chair and ottoman. There was a big rust stain beneath the toilet. The toilet seat was cracked and pinched my tuchus every time I (reluctantly) had to sit on it. The bathroom floor was dirty, and the tub caulking was mildewed. The shower stall wall was cracked. The counter in the bathroom was falling apart. There were no tissues, just an empty box. The bathtub drained slowly, so water accumulated in the tub when I showered. The towels looked as if they had been used as grease rags, and were so badly stained that I just basically let myself drip dry after a shower. The toilet would keep running after each flush, so we had to keep removing the tank cover to stop it each time.
The AC blew alright, but only cooled sporadically, and was very loud. After our “Do Not Disturb” tag was taken off our door, and we had to get another one, we started taking our medications and all electronic charging cables and CDs with us whenever we left our room. Neither the parking lot nor the room felt safe.
The mattress was stained very badly on the sides where we could see (it looked like blood), and we were afraid to look under the mattress cover.
I spilled a couple of drops of water on the floor, and when I blotted it up with some TP, it came back brown.
I smiled at the cleaning lady and said, “Good morning!”, and she just stared at me like I was from outer space.
I was, however, amazed to see no bedbugs nor roaches. My guess is that the stench of cigarettes, marijuana, mildew, and crack smoke kept them at bay. (“No Smoking Hotel”? BAHAHAHA!)
We were supposed to get an email when we checked out, confirming that we checked out and should get our $50 deposit back. Not sure what the deposit was for, since there is nothing we could have done to mess up the room any worse than it was when we got there. It took forever and several attempts before someone finally answered the phone when we called to ask about the missing email. It had been sent to Expedia. So they sent us a copy. The deposit was returned. The best part of staying at this dump was seeing it in our rear-view mirror, knowing we will never stay here again.
We have decided that the next time we come to town, we are going to just bring a tent and camp in a friend’s back yard. Much cleaner and safer. I sent a complaint to the BBB, and they contacted the hotel. But there is still no response, and I have given them plenty of time to respond.

Worst Place ever!!!!!

Called after driving numerous hours on the road and got a room. My husband went to room first and found a big cockroach on the ceiling in the bathroom. I go to the phone to call the front desk and didn't even want to touch the phone it was so disgusting. We got to change rooms but the light/fan combo was hanging out of the ceiling, there was holes in the walls. We did stay the night but I didn't sleep a wink all night thinking that something was crawling on me. If it wasn't for my husband having back surgery I would have slept in the car. Left early the next morning and had to ring the bell about 10 times to get into the front desk area. Nobody was around and finally a man came out of the back room and let us in to check out. Obviously, he had been asleep, and we woke him up. This was at a Red Roof Inn in Chambersburg, PA. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
