Support is just a page without a function. Full on scam
Had issues with tickets going to the wrong account, tried to email multiple times and even messaged there instagram page, to get resolved but never got a reply.
Resident Advisor and the organization TØKRA are completely ignoring their legal obligations. I bought tickets for the event "TOKRA × Circles Bridge" at the Veronicaschip in Amsterdam, which was officially CANCELLED.
It has been over a month now. I have sent multiple emails to RA support, sent emails to the organization, and reached out via Instagram DM. Absolutely everyone is ignoring me.
There is no "Refund" button available in my RA account under 'My Tickets', which means my iDEAL payment is being withheld on purpose.
This is direct non-delivery of a service. Process my refund immediately.
My ticket/order number is: RA54949998-553
I mistakenly bought tickets of an event for a wrong date, reached out to RA and they refunded it back! Brilliant work ethic. Replied to my emails quickly and communicated clearly. Really pleased with how it’s handled and offcourse the outcome.
Absolutely useless service!
They require you to download an app to retrieve tickets, while every provider sends them in the mail. However, if you don’t have the app the payment gave an error on the website, but it did actually go through. This happened three times before we figured out we needed to download the app. This left us with 6 (3x2) tickets in the app bought very last minute. We could prove that the process was broken and that the website would give a payment error message (instead of a message that says: thanks for the payment, please retrieve your tickets from the app).
I could prove my mistake with the RA codes that were requested by the customer care, only for them to come back and say they won’t refund me.
What an absolute dog of a ticketing service and even worde customer care. I will never use them again, also not as an organizer of events.
Stay away of these thieves
Chose the wrong ticket and the Support agent very kindly resolve my issue with quick and good communication.
Made a mistake by purchasing a wrong ticket type - the team was very efficient by helping me via email!
Good experience with refunding a misordered ticket. Staff was helpful and provided solution within a day
They gave great customer service and suzie was helpful throughout will always use
customer service rep was helpful and resolved my issue promptly when i purchased the wrong time slot for an event. i was able to get my initial purchase refunded and i was able to purchase the correct time slot for the event :)
After reading promotional hype on the
RA app, I spent nearly £70 on 2 tickets. to go to an all-dayer music event held in different venues along the Walthamstow beer mile. While at the event though, I watched people enter the former trading estate for free. So, I asked them if they'd paid for entry and they said no they hadn't.
About a month later the promoter and ticket seller emailed me trying to big up 2027s Another Thought all-dayer. So, I emailed him and asked for a refund because the info on RA misled the communuty to think tickets had to be bought to enter. Guess what the promoter/ticket seller replied? "Your ticket purchase helped us cover the cost of all the artists and additional production brought in on the day, without that the event wouldn't have excited." I thought "Yeah, I've been duped into making a charitable donation." I felt like I'd paid to subsidise the event so music lovers who hadn't paid to enter the site would enjoy themselves. After this he just ignored my emails and went silent on me.
So, I emailed Matt Wickings and sent a recorded delivery letter to his office in one of the breweries, informing him of consumer laws about the misselling of goods and services. I also gave him a chance to respond and if he didn't, I said I'd see him in a small claims court. But he's deleted his Corsica email account, and someone called Big H signed for the recorded delivery letter. This promoter and ticket seller's refusing to refund my hard earned cash.
Yeah, music worshipping outliers who aren't really represented on RA, have a saying, "Clock 'em, an' pree!" And that's exactly what I've done. I've deleted RA from my devices and this promoter/ticket seller and the breweries and taprooms can keep my financial donation to their charitable cause.
Some promoters/ticket sellers on RA think they can make big bucks touting misleading info through dodgy PR. So, just beware!
RA refunded me so fast im really happy! i had an accident buying 6 tickets to a wrong event. I clicked the right event but somehow the system got me a wrong date.
Ordered too many tickets which was actually a glitch with RA’s web page though RA sorted the issue out and made a refund without any problems
Seems a good company to deal with.
I have ordered tickets through RA in the past without any issues whatsoever
We use resident advisor to list our events and sell tickets.
Recently, we updated the text and image for one of our upcoming events and edited the listing on Resident Advisor. Unfortunately, this caused the event page to break completely.
This happened just four days before the event, which is a critical period for us as this is when we normally sell most of our tickets.
We immediately opened a support case and explained the urgency of the situation.
More than 24 hours later, we still have no solution. Our event is now only two days away, and we currently have no functioning event page and, most importantly, no way to sell tickets.
For an event platform, this level of support for such a time-sensitive and business-critical issue is extremely disappointing.
Every hour the page remains unavailable directly affects our ticket sales and the success of the event.
We expected a platform like Resident Advisor to understand how urgent an issue like this is for an event organiser, particularly this close to the event date. Unfortunately, the lack of timely support has left us in a very difficult position.
I was promised a refund after being refused entrance at a club in Berlin. I sent 5 mails, but only my first mail was answered, asking for more details. I sent the details, still no refund. Radio silence for over two weeks now, scandalous.
Awful experience. I paid for a service I wasn’t even allowed to use, yet RA still kept their fees and refused to refund them, after comfirmation email frim fabric london who claimed they were at fault and they are happy with the full refund!
The whole process of contacting RA felt deliberately unclear and extremely unfair. Taking fees when the customer receives no service is unacceptable.
I won’t use Resident Advisor again
Avoid RA Guide - sold tickets, changed the event, then ghosted my refund request
I bought two tickets for a London festival earlier this year through RA Guide. The venue was later changed and it shifted from a two day to a one day event, so I no longer wanted to attend. The festival's website stated that refund requests sent to RA's ticket support address before 17th July 2026 would be processed. I emailed my request on 14th July - three days ahead of the deadline.
That was over six weeks and eight emails ago. I've had zero response. Not a confirmation, not an acknowledgment, nothing. I'm now emailing daily just trying to get a reply.
They changed the event, offered a refund window, took my request within it, and have since gone completely silent. If you're considering using RA Guide, know that their "refund process" appears to be a formality with no one actually behind it.
I won't be using them again, and I'd think twice before trusting them with your money either.
They are really fast in attending to your requests. They care; that's what matters. One of the best customer service.
Thanks
Helped me with a refund when the promoter didn’t tell anyone the event was cancelled
