Restons Solicitors are a long established law firm that acts on behalf of lenders and debt purchasers to recover debt. Lenders and debt purchasers will typically appoint solicitors like us when their attempts to engage with their customers regarding their debts have failed, either because they haven’t been able to get in touch or weren’t able to come to an agreeable solution.

This solicitor's firm is worse than a…

This solicitor's firm is worse than a scammer. I would like to file a report with the law society. They think everyone is stupid like them. They have been lying to me for over 2 years about the money I do not owe. The company I owed it to was 18 years ago, so if the debt is over 6 years, then the debt gets barred automatically, unless you have paid any token money or correspondence. I told them over 2 years ago, and they said they have the charging orders against my property., I never had a letter from the Court, but they keep saying we have the orders; they are a bunch of scammers or even worse. They will earn more money that way instead of practising law.

Awful

Awful firm. They have no empathy for genuine reasons why the debt had been incurred in the first place and are not prepared to negotiate. They are mean and keep whacking charges on without notice. They don't respond to emails. Their website is always down. They want you to complete a financial statement every year asking for your personal financial information that has nothing to do with them or your debt. They have no soul.

Shameful scam of a customer service

I had a credit card debt passed to this company. They sent a text message to make account and do income-expenses. I did it and the system told they will be in touch. I received a letter from court. I called and got through to Sophie who was extremely rude and not cooperative. Apparently they called me at 8am (when my phone was at sleep mode and it didn't even ring) and left me voicemail about which I didn't receive and considered that enough before sending the case to court. At some point Sophie couldn't hear me (clearly made up excuse as she didn't want to help!) and instantly hang up without calling me back. I called back 6 times and apparently all 'case managers' where busy -btw first time I got through instantly - one big scam to earn their £80 legal representative costs. There is a special place in the hell for this people.

This company is the scum of the earth…

This company is the scum of the earth !!!
After my wife’s very sudden death I ended up in financial difficulty as I suffered from PTDS, anxiety and depression.
The pond life who work for this company chased me constantly for credit card debts I had and was unable to pay due to my mental health problems.
When I tried to explain this to one if their staff his exact words were, this is not my problem all I want is your money, revolting human being, actually human being is too nice !!
Luckily now I have got myself back on my feet and earning huge amounts of money so revenge is the only thing on my mind.
I have employed one of the best legal companies in the country to rip these scumbags apart !!!
