While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

They took my phone number and traced it…

They took my phone number and traced it to my ex-wife and sent her funding information. I needed to call them to determine what the name of their company was, they had no return address or anything that stated their name. If you are reputable you don't do that

i ordered a retro advance handheld…

i ordered a retro advance handheld gaming console on december 5th 2018 via idrockthis.com, which was a shop hosted by shopify.com. i paid $29.97 plus $6.45 for 14 business day shipping. i was charged immediately, got an emailed receipt but nothing else ever. on dec 26th i emailed idrockthis customer support inquiring about the status of my purchase: no response. i emailed them again on january 14th with a similar complaint: again, no response. i had also emailed shopify.com directly on january 1st but they shrugged it off claiming they aren't responsible for the sellers on their site, and advised me to take it up with my bank. which i did. at this point in time, the website idrockthis.com (where i ordered from) had been completely taken down. eventually i contacted my bank, filed a dispute, and was refunded. the worst part is, i keep seeing different sites on facebook advertising this item weekly, and the same facebook users with the exact same "reviews" and videos claiming how awesome the product is. when i comment claiming its a scam my comments are immediately deleted and i get blocked. similar situation happens to other users based on some of the comments i've read. this item doesn't actually exist, and every instance of it popping up online is the same exact scam through a different site.

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered one of these over 2 mouths ago and still haven't received my package. I got a tracking number that goes to a sketchy website and doesn't work. and also got a email the same day claiming it was shipped. I'm 98% sure this "Retro advance" is a scam because the web site no longer up when I search for it.

Scam Alert!

I placed an order for their video game console on December 16th as a Christmas gift. It is now February 17th and I still have not received my item. The package shows no movement since January 10th, and after a number of emails with very little information given from them, they've only offered me a refund of 15% "for the inconvenience" and essentially told me to take up my fight with the USPS. What? This site is a scam. Avoid at all costs!
