Highly recommended.

I ordered a pair of freeride skis with bindings. Got immediate feedback asking me about the binding setup. Everything done very professionally and fast.

Highly recommended.

Speculation on shipping charges, as well as slow and incompetent!

In November 2013, I purchased mountaineering equipment at Revedecime.com, worth 400.-Euros. This earned me around 193bonus points, the equivalent of 19.30.-Euros discount on my next purchase in terms of a fidelity system.
Sounds great, —but nowhere close to the ripping off reality of this online retailer!

As regards the November purchase, an item sent back that did not fit the description on the website’s image, a clear breach of consumer rights which usually with Paypal would automatically raise a Paypal dispute under the heading “Item not as described” … ended up in being an expense out of my own pocket in the value of 9.60Euro for a registered mail parcel, since the Paypal-payment option is unfortunately not available.

But this is not where it all ends, and although I would not purchase again from such a deceiving retailer, I thought I might at least take advantage of the 19.30Euros bonus points and get a gift for a friend in form of a belay device which roughly fitted the price/bonus points earned.

After e-mailing them and asking about shipping charges, I was informed via e-mail by a gentleman named Eric, that shipping would be in the amount of 7Euros, which does not appear in the websites delivery methods, which by default only lists approx. 43.-, 93.- and 99.-Euros worth UPS courrier options!
I was further told that if I provide my account details they would fix that for me, namely make the shipping worth 7Euros, for a Black Diamong ATC Guide, weight: 88gr.!
A similar situation arose in November 2013 with an employee called Anais, for the purchase worth 400.-Euros at the time, where a I had to select a higher shipping amount and a refund was thereafter effected to lower the shipping charges.

Over the period of a week I sent various e-mails checking back thereafter why it’s taking so long and whether they needed help with some detail, since I was a registered customer since November 2013.
Result: no reply whatsoever.
No communication possible.

Soon it became evident that Revedecime.com is not only deceiving its customer’s when it comes to misleading pictures on the product’s webpage, but also that when it comes to the time to take advantage of one’s bonus points, shipping costs started fluctuating in a manner that comes close to the most primitive speculation possible: suddenly for an item worth a bit over 19Euros, weighing 88gr. + packaging, the shipping has jumped to over 16Euros!

If you check on the French Post’s website (La Poste) the shipping costs to Portugal, for a registered parcel and signed for upon arrival, as concerns weight up to 300gr. (more than generous packaging added to a 88gr. belay device) you come to an approximate of just under 7Euros; making thus the dubious shipping policy of this retailer evident.

In my case, I have wasted already 9.60Euros worth of registered mail shipping back to them in 2013, for an item which was other than described … with no reimbursement thereafter for shipping costs, and now 19.30Euros worth of bonus points, —mind you the Black Diamond belay device I was planning on getting costs currently 19.12Euros, for which shipping costs have been “lowered” to a bit over 16Euros.
What a pathetic little pirate shop!

Buy and order at own risk, or take your business to retailers which are honest, reliable and of exceeding customer care and professionalism; … all criteria this “Nightmare-shop” does not fulfill in the least.
I am now forwarding all the documentation including screenshots of my purchase and bonus points earned, emails and other relevant proofs to the relevant French consumer authority, for them to start keeping an eye on this retailer, so that future consumers don't have to endure the same losses, as there is no “good sport” and fair play to be found here, only greedy and fraudulent behavior!

Andreas,

We can not be agree with you. Yes the french post is proposed in their shops for a price at 7 €, we use like other french website a colissimo solution, which means that you can follow the shipement during the expedition, and the first price for Portugal is More expensive, even for 88 gr.
You think that we are fraudulent ! Even when we take times to offer you any time on the week an answer.
I'm really disappointed about your attitude and your answer.
We take time and pleasure to offer all our solutions for our customers, anyway not for you as you think regarding your e mail.
It's a shame.
Best regards,
