Purchased a 4 CH HiLook DVR in March 23 and during setting up the configuration CH1 was lost and I had to carry out a factory reset to get it back again and had do the setting process again. I reported the defect to RF Concepts and was told I had caused the problem in the setting up. Having been careful in setting up the second time I managed to get the DVR working but after a few weeks CH1 was lost again. I contacted RF Concepts again and after several exchanges I was once again told it was my setting up process caused the defect. I tried reloading the firmware in case there was a bug but the reload would not accept the same version of firmware. Which means if the firmware had a bug and cannot be reloaded the DVR would be useless. Again after reporting the failure to reload the firmware I was told by the support agent that the DVR was considered to be without defect and the problem was caused by me. I was offered to return the DVR but eventually declined because when received by RF concepts I expected to be informed no defect found. So I decided to take the hit and use the DVR until it goes wrong again at which point I will ditch the DVR and buy a more reliable DVR. The moral of this episode is do not trust RF Concepts when things go wrong.
I recently purchased a 2 camera kit with additional camera . The website was very good with an option to upgrade hard drive, number of cameras, add additional cables. Everything standard was explained in the advert contrary to other reviews. The system looks to be excellent quality too very happy with purchase so far 👍
Very misleading website. It tricks you into thinking you are getting kit but after checking it's only one camera. Also read reviews that they are fake Hik cameras. Avoid this seller..
