I used to cut my hair with Adolpho Volono at Richard Ward, then I decided to try to cut my hair elsewhere over a year and a half I went to about 6 other top hairdressers with very good reviews, I do not know how, just to realise that Adolpho is without doubt the very best hairdresser in London for a Bob haircut. so if you are looking for a amazing haircut go for Adolpho Volono or Cristiano Basciu who is also very good, even at Richard Ward in my view they are the best.

I have been going to Richard Ward for a number of years now and having my hair cut by Karen. Yes it is expensive, and I can't really afford it, but I always leave with a fantastic cut that still looks good four months on. Karen also gives me lots of advice on how to style my hair and keep it looking at its best

I have been going to Richard Ward only when I can afford it maybe once a year, so not often, but certainly over twenty years I would say, no specific hairdresser asked for. Thomas who coloured my hair, this time was attentive asked me about coffee etc we exchanged anicdotes, but then when I was passed over for the cut this was entirely different experience , a very deflating experience. I know I am not famous, young, and all that goes with that , but as a senior stylist I think that I should have been shown a a modicum of respect. In a very bad mood , and a senior hair dresser he was very unprofessional, There was no conversation at all ( I didn’t mind that ) , just grunts. My head was pulled from pillar to post, hair over my face so I had to look down for at least an hour, my jewellery from my neck was removed without permission /asked. My chair was also dragged round without asking if it was ok, like a dodgem car, I have recently had a knee replacement so THAT was not a great experience. All round I think that the senior director gets Nils point for his behaviour, it is supposed to be a nice experience …. I am still very annoyed by such a trivial event!!! But it cost alot of money….. I think you should know about it. I have a small business so I know how they run, and if my staff treated people like that I would at least have a word. Be nice to everyone not just a select few…..

I visited Richard Wards salon today. My stylist (whom I wanted as he did a tv presenters hair I love)was Nando. I've been to a few top salons in London but this guy has the absolute edge. He effortlessly cut my hair and styled it and for the first time in years I came out 100% happy. I'm a poorly paid nhs nurse ( woe is me !) but I decided to treat myself and I was not disappointed. The problem is now I will be going back, so overtime, here I come !!
