I received a bottle of Riddle in a Beauty box a couple years ago and never forgot the smell. I loved it! This year I decided to splurge and get myself this very expensive, very small bottle of body oil. Immediately, after making the purchase, I started seeing ads for Riddle on social media. When I checked the comments, they were flooded with people saying that Riddle change the formula and that the new body oil has no smell.

Well, my body oil arrived today I’m genuinely shocked that a company has the audacity to do this to their customers.

It smells like mineral oil and disappointment. Compared side-by-side to actual riddle roll on, it’s laughably absence of fragrance. This product has no smell. This is not about being nose blind- there is little to no fragrance. Which is the whole point.

For this price, they should be delivering customers not only a luxurious blend of skin loving oils, but also a fragrance that knocks them out of the park. I think they’ve just become so greedy that they want people to buy all of their products in order to get any kind of smell going.

Anyways, Riddle, thank you for ruining my birthday present to myself. I see why you don’t do refunds.

I placed an order for riddle oil and milky spray. All the reviews are correct stating there is NO smell with the original scent. Now you will see that there is a NEW original scent that they are marketing with a boost in scent! HMMM??🤔 is that because they received soo many complaints that customers were not smelling the original??
I then ordered the EX body oil and roll on oil. This order was placed on February 14th 2026. It sat in Newark NJ for 2+ weeks and now it’s been in Columbus Ohio for 2 days! As of today (3/3/26) I still have not received my order! I emailed customer service and of course it’s out of their hands!! I will never order again unless they have several ways to choose shipping! By the way… I live in New York! Why did the package leave Newark NJ to Columbus Ohio???

Do not buy. I had previously purchased in 2019, purchased again in 2020 because I loved the product so much. When I received the new product, I noticed my perfume didn't even smell. Emailed them and never got a response. Fast forward to this year, I decided to try the scent again, but once again was dissatisfied as the perfume did not have a scent. This confirmed it wasn't just that one bottle. Since, I have emailed the customer service email several times and never received a response. DO NOT BUY this product unless you can visibly smell it in the stores to confirm they are not cheating you out of a scent like they did myself TWICE.

Received overpriced oil without scent. Lauren at riddle refuses to replace or refund. Had to dispute on credit card. I would’ve been happy with a replacement and said so. Nope not from riddle. Total spent $ 112. For oil and lotion that smells like the container it came in.

I purchased the sample kit, 8 fragrances in the kit, only 3 had nice smells, so I ordered Original, Poppy and Muse body oils, noticed the smell was faint and didn't last long so I ordered the popular Original Milky Lotion and Original Roll On, layering should last longer, nope! They want you to believe the Original is a Pheromone fragrance that one can't smell on themselves, thats bull. I feel like I was made a fool of. waisted my money, won't buy again.

I placed an order and received an 8ml original roll on. It arrived a week after my discovery set arrived. I purchased the 8ml because I loved the one in the discovery set so much. Now I have both and they smell nothing alike. I have reached out to customer service via email and it’s like they do not understand what I am saying. These two products side by side are not the same product. The scents are not the same. The larger size smells like absolutely nothing. The discovery size smells amazing. If I put one on each wrist, I only smell the discovery size. Every email response I have received has been someone posting a preselected prompt and sending. I understand that it’s a light scent and pheromone. My issue is that both should smell the same. They do not. The 8 ml has no smell. At all.

I absolutely love this product, the Original, however I wanted to try Nude Beach, but didn't want to buy Ithe sample kit because I don't care for alot in the sample kit. I am extremely disappointed in how the Nude beach smelled now I am stuck with a 60$ product I can't wear 😢 😞

Don’t waste your money. The fragrance doesn’t last and they don’t give refunds. They will tell you it’s the ph of your skin or not to layer. I know fragrance as I worked in fragrance and I’m an esthetician so I know my anatomy.

I ordered the Riddle Roll On Fragrance Oil Sample Kit. It contains 7 different scents. I cannot wear any of them. They all smell horrible and I had to wash them off immediately. Waste of money!

Very disappointed, terrible customer service. I never received the product I ordered and they would not re ship it. I explained to them that in my community because of similar addresses, the mailman deliver to the wrong lock boxes. I offered to pay for the shipping if they would use a different carrier such as ups or fedex. First they said ok but then they emailed that they will not send the item because they have no reason to believe I did not receive it! They are rude and condescending and they don’t even care if you buy the shipping insurance, they take your money and you have no product. My credit card co. credited me back the money and I would never order anything from Riddle again. Also, don’t waste your money on the sample kit. There are only 2 scents that smell decent, the rest are horrible. This company is a scam!

This company says that they won’t return your money and it turns out because there’s no scent in their scented oils!

I purchased the original scent roll on oil for $58!!!! When I received my order, without even trying the oil on, I smelled it and it is the exact same roll on oil that I purchased elsewhere for $38 and it's 1 oz., Riddle is 0.27 oz. I requested to return the oil and was told that they do not accept returns or exchanges. The product is brand new and they will not take it back. Now I am stuck with a $60 tiny bottle of oil that I already have from another seller for $38. The original scent from Riddle is the same exact oil known as Seksi oil which is found on social media. I want others to be warned that Riddle is a rip off when it comes to the original scent. As for their other scents, I wouldn't know because I will never purchase another product from them again.

This company is incredible at marketing and creating systems that benefit themselves. Their oils (I’ve tried Original and was given a sample of Nude Beach) smell literally like something off your grandma’s shelf; the second being so horrible that I had to take a shower to wash the scent off and it took hours for my headache to go away. I initially signed up for a subscription, going off the rave reviews it seemed like a slam dunk. After clearing knowing I would never wear the scent I asked the company to cancel my subscription order (I didn’t even ask for a refund for first headache inducing oil) and they refused, stating it was against their policy. Now I have over $120 of perfume that I would never wear and genuinely would be embarrassed to even gift to a friend. I don’t agree with how this company conducts itself, and even more dislike their scents.

My daughter and I purchased Riddle Oil for the first time on a trip to California and we both fell in love with Muse.
This year I purchased the sample kits for myself, my daughter, daughter in-law's and friends for Christmas gifts and I hope they are falling in love as well....

This company is truly amazing. Their products are wonderful and their customer service is outstanding. They respond immediately and don't make you feel like you're talking to a robot. They only email me with deals and not unnecessary information. I strongly recommend them and often tell others about them. The Original oil is incredible as well. I get compliments several times a week on my scent! Love love love Riddle Oil!
