Impressive motorcycle shop that retains its family business roots

I think the client liaison, customer care and general communication offered by their Bristol based sales team is very good. My Sales Executive, Adrian couldn't have been more helpful as he dealt with the sale and transfer of my beloved Thruxton r in exchange for a rarer high quality used Triumph motorcycle I have relished owning for number of years. As a fellow motorcyclist he was extremely knowledgeable about bikes in general and offered a broad range of informed responses to questions asked over the phone which encouraged me to take a trip from the Midlands down to their Bristol store to inspect the bike at close quarters. As a dedicated Triumph biker I was suitably impressed by this Harley/Ducati dealership and their family business concept seems very client centred.

Don't give this company your money

Don't give this company your money. Still waiting for my goods I purchased nearly a week ago. Emailed them and got a very short and ignorant response without a hint of an apology. They told me I should have the goods in three days time which will be over a week since I paid for them. Cowboys.

Bought a pair of motorcycle boots from…

Bought a pair of motorcycle boots from them November 2nd 2023. I hardly used them and around September/ October noticed the gear changing area of the left boot had completely worn away and the thick rubber had disintegrated. I sent an e-mail to them on 56th November 2024. They refused to help saying “another company had told them it was not warranted for a year” this is despite the manufacturer saying it was warranties for 2 years.

They don’t want to help, don't care and finally told me “to try through another dealer” why on earth would an go to another dealer to get warranty on an item i bought from them.

Small claims initiated.

Avoid them at all costs.

Avoid them at all costs. I bought a 20k Ducati Multistrada off them brand new which I had to have factory lowered. As soon as I started driving it home it was apparent that the factory lowered option seat was too thin and I was getting extremely hot from the engine. I knew then it was a mistake. I rode it one more time and this time I got stuck in traffic and the outside temperature was 27 degrees. This time it got so hot it actually burnt me. It was not rideable. I was planning a trip to Italy and this bike was going to be murder in the heat there for sure.
I contacted them and asked them to buy the bike back (was expecting to take a loss), and they refused. Didn't want it. Never bought a bike from a dealer before that didn't even want there own new bikes back. They simply dismissed me and the whole situation. I am now having to go through the Financial Ombudsman to try and refuse the bike as not fit for purpose as it is too dangerous to ride, so much so, I have not ridden it again and it is just in a lockup pending the outcome.
