One of my closest friend died on the…

One of my closest friend died on the 10.july 2024 in rigshospital CPH. he died at a beutiful age of 93.
I felt thrughout his last days that the hospital stuff did a very good emphatetic job. we are thankful. When we needed to talk to them, they were available and took their time to listen. They have a job when especially in these moments you have to look at it as it is more then a job and just be there for your fellow human. That is how we felt from B. Jørgensen and her stuff. Thank you again.

Righospitalet, a very good hospital

I have been send to the Righospitalet in emergency on a Monday evening. I was admitted in the neurology department.
They felt very concerned with my problem. They programm an exam during the night and others the next day and the day after.
Doctors, nurses, everyone was very profesionnal and careful. They had time to explain what was happening and what they were going to do.
I spent two nights and everybody was very kind and they did their best. They even found doctors and nurses who spoke french !
If I needed to, I'll go to this hospital eyes closed.

I just left the hospital now

I just left the hospital now, i dont even feel like this hospital remain to Denmark, cause with the other hospitals i have mosty had pretty good experience within the posibilities. I live here for almost three years, but what i experienced today exceed all. Very much on my own in a foreign country, after calling 1813 they wanted to Send me an ambulance cause they were concerned about me being severely dehydrated. I rejected that, their response were to at least put me priority.
The experience after-rude personal, they let me wait with no action no doctor, nothing for almost four hours.
Now i dont have to be a doctor, to know that it is really necessary to someone who womited for more than 48hrs plus cannt hold even a water to give the base (Nacl), plus some things intravenous.
And i totally understand its not a welcome drink at the hospital, but i mean after four hours telling me that they are busy and being rude and sarcastic that what do i Think im not that sick.
This isnt a Danish standard and im not saying i was dying(altho i felt really terrible, almost felt like it), but they are not at all close to the standards i have experienced in other parts of Denmark.

Rigshospital is incompetent

Rigshospital is incompetent, Neurologist level of professionalism is not existent. The way it works: emergency scanning for tumours and bleeding if they do not exists means you are fine and will not die, orders you out to go home to sleep. Overlooked severe encephalitis twice, lost my job due to illness, had no medical leave offered, severe form lasted for several months hardly could walk or go around the house, refused help by hospital and by private clinics, GP didn't know what to do, I went abroad and was hospitalised. But what to be surprised here, they overlook meningitis too, so many cases in Denmark even cases that get to the court because people die! Utterly unprofessional in diagnostic, mediocre at best. Even when diagnosis are made abroad they still cant follow up on it. Often feels that I talk to absolute low level intellect people, not even basic knowledge at all. The only thing that works for Danish medical system is an absolute arrogance, blown to unbelievable proportion, they believe how good they are, although in the end of the day reality is different. All this “high professionalism” is based on marketing or people experience who doesn't know any better and not aware what they should in fact receive from the hospital. I have medical background and I know exactly what was not done! Thats where partially the financial resources go… to create image and promotion. Especially for foreigners because we are used for quality service and if you start to complain they presume that you are looking for attention and not psychological stable. I know for the fact that they are even taught at universities and medical schools, “if the foreigners comes to you multiple time start to ignore them because they are looking for your attention”. The narcissistic omnipotence of Danes are to unbelievable height! In a mean time Doctors from Abroad are openly laughing from Danes basic inabilities to perform! You all should be ashamed of yourself! If you cant perform professionally either stop working or reeducate yourself!

The hospital has endometriosis department!

I was diagnosed with endometriosis by my doctor Herlev, and he refers me to Rigshospitalet. I had to wait two months before my checkup. However, once they confirm that I did have endometriosis and fibroma, they quickly scheduled me for surgery (laparoscopy myomectomy). From what they told me, the hospital has their endometriosis department and specialist.

The nurses were very kind and patient, and the doctors were thoughtful. Overall, I had a great experience.

Best Hostpital I have been to in my life, and i have tried a lot !!!!

I have been send to the Righospitalet in emergency from Amager hospital on a Tuesday evening. I was admitted in the øre/næse/hals department.
They took excellent care of me, the service, the infrastructure and the level of attention was close to perfection.
I spend 2 night in the hospital and during those 48 hours every person made me feel good and was very comforting.
This is a great Hospital and although i wish not to be sick again if i do i will go back to this one !
