I went into West quay Rituals store…
I went into West quay Rituals store after a long time today there is an older lady late in her late 40s/50s with an eastern European accent, she maybe the supervisor but honestly she was so rude. I picked up a bottle mistaking it for a tester, she came over and confronted me I apologised saying I didn’t notice the actual tester on another side and she still continued to have a condescending tone, I was looking to buy something but swiftly changed my mind. Strangely enough as I left she was very welcoming to the customer who were just going in. Me and my friend didn’t get that warm welcome. I’m a loyal customer with Rituals not specifically that store, but in general they are really nice, I will not be going into that store again.
ITS TERRIBLE
ITS TERRIBLE! From discontinuing classic scents, which were my favourite, to giving me several allergic reactions, I do not recommend this brand at all!
Extremely unhelpful customer service
Extremely unhelpful customer service, if you have a problem with your order they are extremely unhelpful.
Excellent customer service
I visited the Rituals Bullring Store today as I wished to purchase Ritual of Jing Shower Oil. Retail assistant was very helpful searched database on the till and advised me that this was discontinued in store, however was available at Ritual outlets. Assistant was proactive and advised me that she could order the product for me and arranged for home delivery. I wasn't aware of Ritual Outlet store locations, and assistant was helpful and advised me about how the outlets worked and their locations. It was a first class customer service experience.
I love rituals
I love rituals - both in store & online. I have ordered online numerous times & the orders come quickly. I’ve only ever bought the bath/shower products so can’t comment on home products, but the creams & shower stuff always last ages & smell gorgeous! Just had a problem with an order & online customer service sorted it out immediately.
Fantastic brand
I discovered the rituals brand when I was in Covent Garden. I was looking for a body cream and just didn’t like the smell of any of the different brands out there. I came across the Rituals brand and have used them ever since I even buy the brand for my friends. I have recently started using the shampoos and conditioners and these have been fantastic for my hair, the only thing I will say is the creams and shower gels are all fantastic scents and last on your skin but the diffusers don’t seem to hold the scent and fade quite fast so I think they need to improve on this as they are quite expensive.
Was at the Manchester airport T2…
Was at the Manchester airport T2 Rituals store a couple of weeks ago with two other friends. just want to say a massive thank you to Emma she was an absolute joy and pleasure to be greeted by with such a warm and wonderful soul. She was magnificent and so attentive. A absolute marvel. What an asset to have for rituals. She went above and beyond and made us feel so seen. A beautiful person throughout. Well done one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
What a Shower !
The Bleu Byzantine Men's Aftershave Spray the bottle has now been reduced to a 50ml from a 75ml pity the Price didn't reduce as well, still been charged the price of the 75ml ,Contacted Rituals on this and was Informed "Ah well the Company needs to Expand we are currently restructuring the company and we need to change with the times and move forward etc etc" what a load of Crap when I told them that it was just another "CUSTOMER RIP OFF EXERCISE" I didn't hear from them again Wonder why, anyway I have purchased a lot from them over the years thats' it now "WE ARE DONE"
It's a case of "Bye for Good" Rituals, Don't bother replying with Another Excuse !
I’m writing a review to commend a staff…
I’m writing a review to commend a staff named Alicia from Westfield Shepherd’s Bush who has been very helpful and showed good interpersonal skills. I am also happy with the product I bought for my husband which was the shaving balm as it is his favourite.
The products are very poor quality
The products are very poor quality. Most of them contain unhealthy and questionable ingredients. When you scan the barcode with ingredient analysis apps like INCI, they score 0 out of 20, which says a lot.
The fragrance quality is also disappointing. The scent does not last long. The car fragrance is extremely strong for the first two days, then it completely disappears. Overall, not worth the price.
Do not buy Rituals’s candles
Do not buy Rituals’s candles. I bought £500 of products for my newly renovated house. A candle, lit once has damaged my brand new bathroom. Tiles had black soot on them, ceiling ruined by black soot, needs to be re painted and grout is ruined, it needs to be replaced. Customer service appalling! Patronising emails, that keep fobbing me off. Beware at all costs. Cheap products overpriced!
Trash Trash Trash. WhatsApp and Online are Utter Garbage
2nd Review as a reminder and update...:
Rituals "lost" my advent calendar in November and refused a refund. I walked into my local store on 21/2 and spoke to a store manager. I showed them my convos on WhatsApp and showed the receipts and Rituals admitting they failed delivery, I then showed my bank account proving I was not refunded. The store manager even laughed with me about how awful their online customer service and WhatsApp help are saying half the time its just AI bots anyway (I won't be naming which store).
After a short convo I now only got a full refund of the £182-odd quid Rituals stole from me, I also got around £100 of free stuff as an apology.
I'll never shop online here, and even though the manager was truly fantastic, I'll never purchase from here again. Shambolic company.
Awful packaging
The body cream I ordered from Rituals may be fabulous but I have no idea what it smells like as I am unable to open the jar. This seems to be an issue for others as there are hacks online on how to find a solution for this, none of which have worked for me so far. I shall not be buying from them again as this has been a total waste of my money. Absolutely useless packaging which needs sorted out asap.
Over priced over rated yes it smells…
Over priced over rated yes it smells good but doesn’t last and customer service is awful
This company sells your details to 3rd…
This company sells your details to 3rd parties who then send spam email. How do I know it’s them? When I ordered via their site, I put my name as “FIRST NAME/RITUALS/SURNAME”. Spam emails pretending to be rituals and other companies refer to me as “Dear FIRST NAME RITUALS”. Easy hack to know which scummy companies sell your data on.
Fantastic experience with customer services
I usually go into store but I needed a birthday present and was unable to travel, so I ordered online. There were some shower gels on offer so I thought I would treat myself at the same time! When the package arrived the order was wrong so I rang up and a lady called Agnes helped me and promised to sort it, which she very promptly did. I was very impressed with the service I received, as always, and I love the products. Great company to deal with in my experience.
I placed an order two weeks ago. Money taken and nothing emailed or delivered
I placed an order two weeks ago. After not receiving it I touched base with the WhatsApp number online to be told even though they took payment my order did not go through.
Please see correspondence below.
Your order was not fully processed. So it didn't go from our payment system to ordering system.
It won't be created” so l issued a refund for you and within 14 days money will be back on original payment method. You can purchase it one more time.
Very disappointed as this was a birthday gift. No correspondence to aware me of this until I reached out.
Products are great but on line service is low level
Products are great , really a pleasure to give or to receive
we enjoy "oudh" eau de parfum and shower foam (5/5 star) best to buy in their shops as ............their service online is bad, they treat their clients as being stupid (1/5 star) Only BOT replies , better have answer from a BOT at least you know what to expect.
Excellent customer care at Teesside…
Excellent customer care at Teesside Park from Emma Smith. Talked through the product range for skin care. I loved the products and went back to buy more the following day.
Great Products, But the Online Experience Needs Work
This review if for IRELAND
Rituals’ body products are genuinely fantastic — they deliver exactly what the marketing promises.
Orders are processed quickly through their Dublin store, and the ongoing free gifts are a nice touch (though you do feel it in the higher prices).
Their outlet store also offers some excellent bargains.
On the downside, the website and mobile app don’t match in what they offer, which is frustrating. The website is also packed with trackers, making online ordering less pleasant than it should be.
Overall, brilliant products, smooth delivery, but the digital experience needs attention.
