Honest, hardworking,respectful people who get the job done

My boyfriend and I moved to Royal Wharf last Saturday, and whilst we were both amazed by all the facilities and promised prime treatment, the reality was pretty different.

Important information regarding the flat, such as how the hot water works, how to register for the gym and access other facilities was not clear. Registering for their app (which grants you access to all the stuff they show on their 'stylish' website) takes an unreasonable long time (about 10 days!), and they do not mention that the 'residents only gym' requires a quite expensive fee for induction prior starting. The very first day we spent in our rented flat had no sign of hot water, and apparently, we were not the only people unaware of why it was happening as we met 2 other girls facing the same problem at the concierge.

Don't get me wrong, the development is very well done and we are pleased with the flat we're renting, but all those problems/delays are causing unnecessary stress and headaches, which we truly weren't expecting to face considering the whole 'luxury treatment' promised in the advertisement. Quite expensive for what you get, at least that's the impression we got in this first week here.

I was horrified to find out that Riverscape is being built by Ballymore and seems to be a rebrand of Royal Wharf. Their website looks nice, if a bit flaky, and they’ve built a nice showroom in Royal Wharf but good grief Ballymore has horrendous reviews on here. Best avoided I think. They show some floorplans on a projector on the wall in the showroom, but all I can think about is the terrible reviews about them. I won’t be buying one of their flats with their reputation. It’s also facing a factory and a lorry park which doesn’t sound nice!
