Looks Beautiful Online… But the Reality Is Very Different
I wish I had read the warning signs before purchasing from Rock & Raw Jewellery.
This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer experiences I have ever had in my life. From the moment the item arrived damaged/faulty, the entire process that followed was handled with almost no communication, no follow-up, and virtually non-existent customer service, all words no actions.
To be clear — the company acknowledged the fault and even apologised for the unacceptable quality and experience. They also confirmed after months of fighting and a dispute being processed that a refund would be issued. Based on that, I returned the necklace.
What happened next is beyond unacceptable.
They now have both my £430 and the original damaged necklace back, yet they are refusing to issue the refund that they previously agreed to. Instead, excuses and changing narratives appeared after the fact.
This behaviour shows a complete disregard for basic retail standards and UK consumer law, including protections under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
The lack of integrity throughout this process has been shocking. There was no proactive communication, no accountability, and no meaningful customer support at any stage. The experience from start to finish has been exhausting.
What makes this even more ironic is that the brand heavily markets itself around crystals, healing energy and spiritual values. In reality, the way this situation has been handled demonstrates the exact opposite of the trust and authenticity they claim to represent.
It honestly does not matter how beautiful the website looks, how polished the product photos are, or how convincing the social media presence appears.
When something goes wrong — and in retail things sometimes do — this company has shown they cannot be trusted to put it right.
At the moment they have:
• My money
• Their faulty necklace back
• And are still withholding the refund that should legally be returned.
From reading other reviews, this does not appear to be an isolated experience.
⚠️ My advice to anyone considering purchasing: buy with extreme caution.
Make sure you have payment protection because if something goes wrong, you may find yourself fighting to get your money back.
