I just wish I could leave ZERO stars!!

I just wish I could leave ZERO stars!!! I have moved many times BUT this move was the worst! I cannot go into full details BUT the stress we and our lovely buyers were put through was beyond unbearable. Our buyers actually suffered stress related illnesses and one ended up in hospital! The only advice I can give is if you use the Burnham branch...WHATEVER discussions you have with them...ALWAYS follow it up in WRITING AND GET A CONFIRMATION ITS RECEIVED! We were told many mistruths and the Ombudsman came down on THEIR side and said it was just ALL "HEARSAY"! We stupidly trusted whatever they said!

Probably one of the worst estate agents…

Probably one of the worst estate agents in the area. Should have reviewed on our local FB page which confirms the poor service. Our property has been on the market 6 weeks and not one update, the only call received was after I called them 6 times, left VM's and in person messages. Now looking to see if we can cancel our 20 week contract and move to another more reliable agent.

Philippa in particular was excellent

Philippa in particular was excellent - I suspect several times she went beyond her official duties and always behaved both professionally and in a friendly manner. She made a stressful and rather complicated transaction so much easier.

Roger platt Maidenhead

I was trying to rent a property through Roger platt and my POC was Andreas and Ateeq. Intially everything was alright once i signed the contract they had informed me that landlord just changed their mind and does not want to proceed any further. As the move date was 5 days from then I called and explained them the urgency as i gave already paid them the rent for the first month. They were not at all concerned and gave me cold answers regarding my move. They were okay with everything before and later everything seems to be an issue. I’m spending a lot on hotels till i get my next home. On top of that they did not yet refund the amount yet. My money is stuck with them. When i requested for the amount they are just saying that they requested the accounts team. Disgusting service. I am searching for a house still and i seriously I dont recommend this agency even to my enemy. The property is still available online but they just wont proceed.

Lower Earley

Lower Earley - Not interested in showing us a house which was vacant in Spencers Wood.
Called Tuesday 9am, offered Friday pm. Clearly already had an offer in place - Obstructive practice, which isn't fair on the seller.

Had a viewing today at 16:05 been waiting at the address at 15:55 had to ring another Branch at Burnham to get any contact and rang the sales team to speak to somebody about the viewing and the sales team was rude to me at the Maidenhead branch as I was not told I had to pay for parking to view this property! Absolutely rude agents and I rang more than 10 times no answer and on 2 different phones. I am trying to work with you guys and nobody had told me that I needed to pay for parking to view this property. It might cost a couple of quid to park to view the property but why am I not being made aware of this

I will not be taking off my experience i had as you guys are ringing me to tell me excuses about what went on. Not my fault I didn't know that people are not working and didn't answer their phone calls. I explained myself and the experience I had.

When purchasing the property

When purchasing the property the agent told me & put on email the price included the furniture. Upon receiving the offer acceptance letter it stated an additional 20k for furniture.

Poor Experience

I would like to echo the experience of the reviewer who had a bad experience (where the needs of the buyer were put first). I was not presented with an accurate picture of the sale and was made to feel like a second class citizen.

Bad Service, Bad Communication, Broke Their Own Contract

I can thoroughly recommend Roger Platt, Burnham High Street if you are happy to be lied to, not communicated with, and generally left feeling that even though you are the fee paying client the buyer's needs will always be more important than any instructions you have given them. If this is not the service you are looking for then I would suggest you choose a different estate agent not in the Sequence Home group
