Buyer Beware!

I purchased a Chevy Colorado from Rombaugh's a couple years ago and they claimed to fix the cracked frame. Needless to say they barely touched it, My mechanic uncovered a ticking time bomb, the frame was still cracked and now clear through all over! $1700.00 and 10 days in the shop and the frame is where it should have been to begin with. 1 leaf spring shackle was no longer connected to the frame! after 30k miles the transfer case had to be replaced due to somebody using JB weld to fix the case crack another $1200 for that. Just make sure you have a certified mechanic other than the clowns at Rombaugh's they have no idea!

My 18 year old daughter bought a car…

My 18 year old daughter bought a car here 4 months ago. Part of the deal was that a couple damage areas would be repaired once parts came in. The console, and a side mirror, along with some interior button.
The guy she bought from had quit, never ordered the parts. Second guy, same.
She was finally in on Tuesday to get the repairs done and only the interior button was done. Other parts still not here.
Dave did not seem the least bit concerned about any of this. Completely dismissed her.
It’s not exactly safe to drive with a broken side mirror. She’s been doing it for 4 months.
A deal was made, and they should be concerned about honoring their end.
We initially told her to shop for her vehicle elsewhere. I wish she’d listened.
I’ll be happy to share this information with anyone who brings up car shopping in conversation.
