Argumentative

I chose Romeo and Succulent for my wedding flowers, as I'd long been a fan of the owner's arrangements. I had no idea that this was the supplier that would cause us the most difficulty. Some issues and miscommunications cropped up in the lead up to the big day, and the owner was consistently and persistently argumentative, to the point where I did have to ask her to stop and I had to start ignoring chunks of her long argumentative emails. We took responsibility for missing something on her invoice leading to a minor confusion, but at no point did she take responsibility for her own miscommunications. Given that wedding planning is stressful anyway, we had to focus our energy elsewhere, so, we tried to put this all behind, and make sure she received everything she asked for so that would the flowers would be right for us on the big day (which including sending through very specific photos so there was no confusion). We didn't receive any examples and no mention of the flowers she might use on the day (despite seeing her post about doing this on Instagram with others). And whilst about half of the the flowers matched what we'd discussed, others were random and didn't fit with the colour scheme. They were supposed to be bright, but were instead muted, which was obviously a disappointment as it didn't match what we'd agreed for the day. The quantity was definitely small considering we spent over 1k, though to her credit she had arranged them very nicely, even though they weren't quite right for us. Before writing this review, I had given her the benefit of the doubt numerous times, and tried to explain what I felt went wrong. I really had hoped she'd be at least apologetic or even just understanding that it hadn't gone according to plan. However, issues were simply disregarded and she did her best to try and invalidate my feelings which I felt was quite unkind. There's been no attempt to resolve this politely, instead telling me I'm wrong (even though I sent through evidence to show the photos I had previously emailed through). It was a real shame, as all our other suppliers on the day were absolutely fabulous, very kind, going above and beyond to help make sure we had the day of our dreams. I think it's really quite something to make a couple feel low about something on their wedding day, and then refuse to take accountability for their part in it. After all, we haven't asked her for a refund or anything at all. I explained what wasn't right, and instead of taking my feedback on board, the argumentative emails returned. I've had to block her which I find really sad.
