Good service, nice food, lovely staff. : )

An outstanding shop. It has everything you need. Fresh vegetable and fresh meat (for those who are carnivores). A gift shop on site and over the road you can pick your own flowers. It is definitely worth the half an hour drive!
Refillables available for cleaning products and toiletries also.
The staff are also very nice.
I may try the restaurant next time i go.

I have used Roots for their fresh fruit and vegetables, their fresh meat and dairy products for some years now. Everything I have purchased has been of excellent quality and good value for money. There is also a small range of frozen goods, having tried the frozen Yorkshire puddings from Roots I have given up even attempting to make my own. Many items are sourced locally

There is also a restaurant attached to the shop. I haven't used this personally but it gets excellent reviews elsewhere.

All staff at Roots appear willing to go out of their way to help. In particular the butchers who will prepare meat specifically to order and obtain items that are not easy to find elsewhere.

The 'loyalty card' system is another plus, bringing vouchers once complete.

I was amazed to see there had not been any reviews of this business on Trust Pilot but I'm delighted to provide a first.
