Do not rent a car with AutoUnion which cooperates with Ross Holidays
From 26ed of August till Sept 9nd 2025, we stayed in Parga Zotos appt. We are very pleased with the service of the owners of this appt. And most of all the cleaning and changing of bed linen and towels. The owners are authentic Greek and although they do not speak any other language than their own Greek, they are very kind. We usually rent a car with Sunny Cars, however since Ross Holidays do business with a company called AutoUnion, we were obliged to rent to this company. We rented a car for 10 days hoping to have rented a save car. However the Rental company (car rental mafia) came with a new car and an old model Nissan Micra. We thought we would have the new suzuki, but instead we got the older micra ( no possibility to have navigation not even with car play, bad brakes and windshield wipers were torn) all these things we discovered after 1 day of driving. Naturally we immediately informed Ross Holidays hostess, but she didnot take any action then writing an e-mail to this company Auto Union and afterwards we were informed that there was no possibility to change cars. The only “luck” we had was that we had a full insurance which we paid upfront. In total and for 10 days we paid €600 for an unsafe car and no action at all from the hostess. Next to that we didnot use the car for three days for safety reasons
So my advise: do not hire a car through Ross Holidays (Auto Union) Ross Holidays do not take you seriously when having a complaint. Also be aware of these car rental mafia tricks!
