I was visiting in Terrell

I was visiting in Terrell, Texas Ross store and I was waiting front dressing room line to try on my 2 dresses. Now, I had walked from the back dressing room because it was closed. I had been waiting at least 3-5 minutes for a room to become available. While I was waiting, an employee came up and started closing the dressing rooms that still had people in it. I told the young girl that I was waiting because I had walked from the back because it said to use the front because the back was closed. I asked her nicely to let me go ahead and use one since I had been there waiting before she even walked up to close them. She sorry you will have to walk to the back dressing room in order to try on the clothes that I had. I was not pleased about this and I did not purchase anything. I won’t shop at this Ross store again.

Much Customer Service Training Needed

I love shopping at Ross. With that being said I hate spending my money some place that offers a horrible customer service experience and this is what I got here. Even corporate customer service hotline is not trained nor well versed in customer service. This is the field I've worked in for the past 11 years. So do I want to give up a good bargain no! Am I going to be disrespected while doing so? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I am going to keep going and getting my little stuff, and if staff gets out of line I will kindly put them right back in line!

Dressing room situation is ridiculous

Dressing room situation is ridiculous. 2 rooms at the front of the store sort of slapped together. I assume to prevent stealing but wow. They need a better solution. Lines are way too long. Also there was some annoying alarm going off the whole time we were there.

Absolute Mess

The store’s always a disaster, clothes all over the floor, and good luck finding anything in your size. Lines are crazy long, and the workers act like they don’t wanna be there. Prices ain’t even that good anymore.

I love shopping at this store! You can find great deals at very good prices. There’s always a nice selection, and I’ve been able to get some really good finds. I usually shop at their location at 1198 Brickyard Rd, Salt Lake City. Highly recommend!

I love Ross stores and when I heard a Ross was coming to us I was so excited. The store is smaller than others I was in, the stock was lie, the store was a mess, staff were awful. I asked three times before they stopped a private. conversation. When I asked were boys pjs were the just said in the back. I went where the pointed and the only thing there were winter coats. Ross check your employees. Your store is awesome but only as good as the staff. Petoskey Michigan scored very low!

Misery-There were 26 people in line…3…

There were 26 people in line…3 cashiers. Therefore spent a good 15 minutes standing in line, arms loaded down as there were no shopping carts available. Waited 20 minutes for an employee to unlock restroom. Never got to use it. There were 7 of us waiting. Men, women and children. This was the Blue Springs, MO store. I have no plans of returning to shop at Ross. Good deals or not!

The ROSS store is fine, a bit crowded with tourists walking The Strip. The issue is the parking garage. It took me 15 minutes to elevator down, shop, and return to my car. The parking gate wouldn't open, an attendant said she would call a supervisor. The supervisor arrived and said, "You took longer than 10 minutes, credit card $16 to open the gate." I had no choice, $16 for 15 minutes parking.

Do not shop at Ross Rockaway Mall NJ

Do not shop at Ross Rockaway Mall NJ store. The staff is rude and does not speak English or makes like they do not speak English. The managers are also rude and will not help you. When you mention that other Ross stores treat their clients better they say don't shop here but go shop in a store where they treat you better. Just avoid this store at all cost.

They don't trust their cashiers.

Used to love going there and never had any issues but they implemented a 'loss prevention' policy. Not only you have to show the payment receipt even though there are 2 steps from the cashier where you pay to them but I've seen those employees emptying the bags of paying costumers to check the merchandise they bought. If Ross doesnt trust their cashiers it is not our problem, soecially not respecting our rights.
Again, used to love this olace and now I turn away. If they ask you to show the ticket etc, you can say no. If they won't let you go, hire a lawyer.

there is way too much to say as to why…

there is way too much to say as to why you should avoid shopping or working at a ross dress for less store. for starters, the managers are terrible at their jobs. they will not train you, they will not have your back when push comes to shove and they will be quick to cut your hours for no reason. they purposefully will refuse to hire you on as a full time employee even if you are deserving of it because of hard word so that they don't have to give you full time benefits. don't even try to tell hr about your issues because the news will just travel back to the idiotic store managers who will berate you for doing such a thing even though you will basically be teaching yourself everything since as i stated before, they are terrible at their jobs. the customers are also an issue as they are the most vile disgusting creatures you will ever have the displeasure of coming into contact with. they leave clothing and other items everywhere and will even drop things on top of the railing right in front of you which just feels like a spit to the face and its very degrading. you are paid extremely low and are forced to work until every inch of your body is numb which isn't fair in the slightest, you should be compensated for the hard work you do but you won't find fairness at ross dress for less. there is so much wrong with the company and they need to get looked into for their borderline abuse of employees.

Ross in Oceanside -Don't go

I shopped at Ross in Oceanside, CA on a Thursday morning. Many homegoods aisles were impassable due to items thrown on the floor (by customers, I assume).

At checkout, the cashier told me to take the hangars off my purchases (it was early and no one else was in line) and the she was annoyed when I missed two. Really?

She did not speak and silently handed me my bag. No thank you, no words at all. After my receipt was checked by an employee at the door, an alarm was tripped by my bag. The cashier had taken off a security tag and put it in the bottom of my bag! What?

This cashier has one job, yet she tells customers that they need to assist her by removing hangars and then if they miss some she aggravates them by putting a security sensor in the bag so security needs to delay them. This is the worst cashier I have ever run across.
