Had a great experience at their restaurant in Edinburgh, food was so good really tasty and filling. Staff very friendly, especially Rebecca who recommended a fantastic dish as it was my first time.. I really enjoyed it. Thank you.. Reese.

I am honestly stunned by what we received from Roti King.

We ordered Roti chicken, Roti mutton, ayam goreng berempah and char kuey teow. The total before discount was just over £50. Even with a 40% Uber One discount, we still paid £32.

What arrived was unacceptable.

The chicken curry had 2 small pieces of chicken. The mutton curry had around 5 very small pieces. Both curries came in tiny containers that were only half full. Not slightly underfilled, visibly half empty.

The char kuey teow was a small handful. It did not resemble a full main portion by any reasonable standard.

No restaurant serves portions like this, not even as children’s meals, let alone at these prices. We were left genuinely hungry after spending £32.

At £50 full price, these portions are indefensible. Even at £32, this felt like extremely poor value and honestly quite insulting.

This wasn’t just disappointing, it is a disgrace. We will not be ordering again. I’ll be emailing this company and will update what their response is..

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING.£129 worth of food delivered to completely wrong address. Deliverer was contacted by us because it it not turn up. He claimed to have delivered to us. We said he had not, gave him details and did nothing. Picture of food sent , miles away from our house.This is the second time we have had this problem. NO FOOD , NOTHING CAN BE DONE and this was a birthday party. The driver delivered to an address miles away and there's nothing we can do about it. DISGUSTING . your drivers are rubbish

Okay guys, my boyfriend and I love the food at Roti King, however, I was utterly disappointed about the service we got this time around. We went there early and got a table within 10 mins. After being sat down it was impossible to get hold of anyone to take our order and they even took orders from people who came in after us, despite it being a pretty small place. When we finally were able to order, we just wanted two mains and we thought the waitress (with face mask on) said “okay, you can order more later”, which from a business perspective makes sense. We finished our mains and wanted a dessert, but was then told that; No, you CANT order more, and that we should have ordered everything from the beginning??? How does that even make any sense? First of all we misunderstood her and secondly; what kind of business are you running to not allow people to have more food??? We had a bottle of wine which we paid a byob fee for and we were not even half way through so clearly we were gonna sit there an occupy the table anyway!

I was so disappointed about the service and the waiters in general and really do believe that you can do better!
I’m disappointed to say the least.

Extremely disappointing food and service.
Roti King is now operating on their past good reputation however providing mediocre service.
Ordered and waited for a takeaway for over 35 minutes.
Only to get home and find the food cold and 1/2 the order missing.
I emailed them to highlight what happened and never heard back.
Very poor customer service. Daylight robbery. Disappointed and don’t recommend at all.
Go to Dishoom. At least you will get friendly staff and your money’s worth of food.

The best Malaysian food pub in London! If you want to try delicious traditional food I recommend this place! The decor is not very nice, but the food makes up for it!
