SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was searching the web to fix my Iphone 4 and came across Rotten Apples.

I paid £90 to have the home button repaired and the LCD screen fixed. I sent the phone recorded delivery to the Exeter location on the Wed thinking it would be back by Friday latest. That was in March 2013. We are now in Jan 2014!!!

I called the company several times, speaking with Ben each time, he wasn't able to tell me where my phone was or even provide me with a tracking number despite my order status on the website stating 'shipped'. He didnt seem overly bothered and never called back when he said he would forcing me to chase him constantly.

I have sent email after email after email for reimbursements. Initially I was chasing the whereabouts of my Iphone to which he would not respond at all. Eventually after getting hold of him again on the phone he said it is shipped but he has no tracking number but he doesnt have it.

In the end I had to accept that my Iphone could quite possibly be lost in the post so in order to rectify the issue I asked for either a replacement Iphone 4 or a refund for the £90 and the money to cover a new IPhone 4. I felt this was a reasonable arrangement considering they are responsible for the return postage and ensuring the customer receives their property

I had an email back from Ben to say yes he would replace with a different IPhone 4. 10 months on, I am still waiting.

This company is exactly what it says. Rotten. Previously I had believed that perhaps the phone was lost and Rotten Apples didnt want to accept liability. This is clearly not the case and they are brazenly stealing peoples money and property.

Reading the other reviews I can now absolutely confirm, the Iphone was not lost, nor were there ever any intentions of replacing it . Along with everyone elses on here, my Iphone 4 was stolen, to make matters worse, I paid £90 for Rotten Apples to steal it.

Now I can see what is really going on, I will also be contacting Trading Standards, I feel sorry I gave them so much credit earlier and hadnt written this review sooner, potentially saving others, I can only apologise to those that have had the same experience, I was just assured by all of the other good reviews that they must be a legitamate company and I was simply the unlucky one

Anyone looking to use this company. DONT! There are other reliable and honest services out there that would not steal from you. I would highly suggest using a walk in service.

Rotten Apples, if you read this, I am still waiting for my replacement Iphone 4.
I would much appreciate you returning my property or reimbursing me to the value of the goods and services you stole.

For everyone else. I would most definitley leave rotten Apples well alone.

Company no longer trading it would appear.

Sent IPhone and payment and then heard nothing for the best part of 2 weeks. No replies to my phone calls or emails, of which I made or sent many. Phone came back today (not repaired) via Royal Mail - thank you for that. No work completed but payment still processed by Rotten Apples. Now taking steps through trading standards to report the fraud and claiming via credit card company. Please beware.

Avoid like the plague!

I believe business has gone under. Now £80 out of a pocket and minus an iPhone 4. No reply from company either via email or phone (despite confirmation from Ben Larcey that phone had been repaired). Their offices have been respossed due to non-payment - as confirmed by by workspace.co.uk who own the offices in question (32-34 Gordon House Road). They trying to track the elusive Ben down too. I'll be contacting trading standards ASAP - and possibly reporting this as fraud with the police. I urge others to do the same.

Company appears to have gone out of business -

Stlill no sign of my iphone or any communication -
I recently heard from another reviewer and user of rotten apples as follows
' When I first used Rotten Apples, in March 2013, their service and communication was excellent ....sadly my second experience which is ongoing has been nothing short of a disaster. I would have expected more professionalism from an ex-Etonian (Ben Larcey). No response on their 0800, their Live Chat is never Live and today I discovered their office unit in NW5 was peacefully repossessed by the Landlord yesterday morning 11 September 2013!! '

Worrying lack of communication and despite tracking showing as 'shipped' since last Friday the phone has not appeared. Getting really worried about where the phone is and whether we'll experience the same problems as others on here. Please contact us Rotten Apples with some news.

Very good service. Quick and easy.

It was a quick, easy and inexpensive service. Kept in touch by email and the phone arrived back when they said it would. Very happy with their service and would recommend them.

Are they fraudsters or in liquidation?

My teenage son sent his phone for repair over a month ago. Not returned. Post office Tracking number given for its does not work as not scanned into system. Only sender can follow up with Post Office. Company does not respond to emails, chat or phone. Now he has no iphone and £57 poorer and quite rightly is devastated. Not at all obvious what to do. Avoid at all costs.

FRUSTRATING

28days and still no news on my phone. Send to be fixed for water damage, no reply to my numerous calls and emails, have only had limited contact via the instant messaging service after much persistence. I am losing money by not using my contract and fear my phone will never be returned to me. PLEASE ROTTEN APPLE GIVE ME SOME INFORMATION, my order number is #4416

Awful company, terrible communication and service.

Day 73 and counting. Not a word...

I am writing on day 73 without a phone. It was sent off for a full revamp.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I cannot discredit this company highly enough. I have emailed and called many times and nothing... I do not understand all the positive reviews. I would like to echo another review, I have to question the reliability of the other reviews as I have had such terrible service.

As and when I hear about back I will keep this site up dated and may revise the review but for now, 1 star and again

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Quick and good

Sent my phone off with a sticky home button on Wednesday. Got a message on Thursday that the repair is completed and the phone is on its way. I received the phone fully working on Friday morning! Top service!

Still Waiting for Refund

Don't bother paying for expedited delivery - they won't do it. They will promise a refund that will never be received. They won't respond to emails.

Started as a great service but deteriorated quickly. Will not use again and will not be recommending.
