Whenever I have to apply for something either its not handled correctly i have to call many time or it takes longer than expected. Im explaining things over and over. They are not knowledgeable. They are always busy and holiday mode.

I want one thing when I rent a car; It has to be what I request at a reasonable price. I hate upselling. i made an online booking for a car rental for a single day to facilitate some visiting that my wife and I needed to do in Holland. We determined that travelling by train more than 80 Km was not only too expensive, but the cost in our time made it unreasonable. Still, family is everything so, we determined to rent a vehicle. We also were leaving on a flight the following day and felt that combining the visiting with transportation to Schiphol made nothing but sense. I wish that I had gotten the ladys name that served us at the Rotterdam location near Rotterdam Centraal. She was pleasant, efficient and very helpful. We arrived nearly an hour early so the vehicle was not ready but that was something that we had expected. We filled out the rental agreements and grabbed a bite to eat and we were all set to go. The price was terrific, the vehicle was a rather large luxury Kia and we were able to drop it off at the airport at no additional charge. The entire experience was hassle free and positive. next time we visit family in the Netherlands, the Rotterdam Hertz location will be one of our first stops.

Submitted an objection to a parking fine I received; zero response. Had a look at the FAQ after a month or so where it states that if I did submit my objection before November, it will be handled this year 😅 wow.

The objection I have is that it took them over 10 days to send me the fine, but apparently dealing with objections is even harder to do in a timely fashion. Fines are fine, but they need to be instant so we can have proof they are unjustified, or learn from the mistake.
