Being an ex domestic engineer from days…

Being an ex domestic engineer from days gone by, I was extremely pleased to discover Rowlett still produce hand made English equipment. I am now the proud owner of an Esprit 4 slice toaster. It works and is put together just like they were when I first used to repair appliances such as toasters, kettles irons, when you could repair them that is.
I just don't understand why Rowlett / Nisbets are in everyones face about it? They should be shouting.

Rowlett toaster

I was looking for a UK manufactured toaster. It seems that Dualit only assemble in the UK, so I bought a Rowlett Regent 4 slot which has 2 thin slice slots and 2 thick. Well made machine and very pleased with it.
