Pinch Pottery Workshop

I recently attended a pinch pottery workshop with Roxy and came away with two pieces I absolutely love, a pinch pot and a small shell form.

As someone completely new to working with clay, I found the whole experience really welcoming. Roxy created a safe, relaxed space that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the process without any pressure.

The session began with a short meditation, focusing on different parts of the body and ending with us holding the ball of clay in our hands. It felt like a thoughtful way to connect with the material before we began shaping it, and it set the tone for the rest of the evening.

We were guided throughout, but there was also plenty of room to experiment and follow our own ideas, which I really appreciated. Support was always there when needed, without ever feeling intrusive.

There was also real attention to detail in how everything was set up. The table was beautifully arranged with some of Roxy’s own work, along with flowers and candles, which gave the evening a warm and intimate feel.

Thank you Roxy for such a considered experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend!

Thanks ever so much for your thoughtful review Clare!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the workshop and that you love the pots you made too. Creating a relaxed, welcoming space where people can explore at their own pace is exactly what I hope for with my Clay & Gather events, so your words truly mean a lot.
Thank you for the energy you brought to the experience, it was a fabulous evening and a pleasure sharing the space with you.
