I haven't even sailed with them yet and…
I haven't even sailed with them yet and we've had 2 issues. They won't redeem my reward points for onboard credit. They apparently have a timeframe, which I was never aware of or let known aware of and we booked a aqua show. And the app kicked us out of it, and now, the bookings are full, this cruise does not want to fix any issues that they have when you call them with complaints, they just tell you, they cannot help you. Sorry for your loss. So I will never sail with this company again. If you sell with them, that's on you. Good luck
My cruise was amazing
My cruise was amazing! Great experience overall, friendly staff, and mr washy washy outside the windjammer was great!
When we booked this cruise
When we booked this cruise, we were guaranteed two connecting handicap-accessible ocean view balcony rooms, with each room accommodating three guests. We allowed Royal to pick our rooms. We made our plans and booked accordingly based on that specific guarantee from Royal Caribbean website.
A week before our cruise we find out that we don't have our rooms assigned yet but my daughter had her room assigned not the one she booked but she has a handicap accessible room with a joining balcony next to some random people we don't even know that sleeps 2 They used every excuse in a book to justify putting her next to some random people.
When initially questioned Royal Caribbean stated they guaranteed handicap joint balcony rooms, but they didn't guarantee that they would be together just that our room would be in that "category"no guarantee that they were going to be together.
We have now been informed that, due to the cruise being overbooked, those accommodations are no longer available. Instead, we have been placed in an ocean view balcony that fits 2, an interior room and an oceanview panoramic room that only accommodate two guests each. This is completely unacceptable and is not what we were promised when we made our reservation.
There are several serious issues with this situation:
● We were guaranteed connecting handicap-accessible ocean view balcony rooms, and Royal Caribbean has failed to provide them.
● The rooms we have now been given do not accommodate the number of guests originally guaranteed for each room.
● The replacement rooms are not handicap accessible, creating legitimate safety and accessibility concerns for our party.
● Instead of having our party together in two connecting rooms, as promised, we are now being forced into three separate rooms spread across the ship.
● This is not simply a matter of wanting a nicer room. We specifically relied on Royal Caribbean’s guarantee when making our reservation, particularly because of the accessibility and safety requirements involved.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, but Royal Caribbean’s overbooking should not result in our family losing accommodations that were specifically guaranteed to us, particularly when those accommodations were necessary for accessibility and safety. They waited one week before cruise date to assign my daughter her room and we had to call them to find out why our room was not assigned yet.Again poor customer service service multiple levels they should contact us personally to let us know about their screwup. They should not have waited a week before cruise date for us to find this out and us not sure if we were even going to have a room to cruise in.
We have been told that the cruise is sold out and that there are no other rooms available to correct this situation. Since Royal Caribbean is unable to provide the accommodations that were guaranteed to us, we expect substantial compensation or a significant onboard credit to acknowledge the seriousness of this failure and the inconvenience it has caused.
We have spent an excessive amount of time on the phone attempting to resolve this matter, only to receive inadequate assistance and extremely poor customer service. The amount of time, stress, and frustration this situation has caused is unacceptable. We should not have had to repeatedly contact Royal Caribbean to address a problem that resulted from the company’s own overbooking and failure to honor its guarantee.
Because there are no alternative rooms available, we expect Royal Caribbean to provide a meaningful remedy, including:
● A substantial refund or compensation for the loss of the guaranteed accessible ocean view balcony accommodations;
● A large onboard credit for the inconvenience, disruption, and safety concerns caused by this situation;
● Additional consideration for the extensive time spent on the phone trying to obtain assistance; and
● A written explanation of how Royal Caribbean intends to address this failure.
We also cannot switch dates because my parents are already on a flight as we speak, and we have 9 other people cruising with us. This was something our friends and family were so excited for and it’s ruined.
We should not be expected to accept unsafe or inaccessible accommodations without appropriate compensation simply because Royal Caribbean overbooked the ship. The fact that the cruise is sold out does not eliminate Royal Caribbean’s responsibility to address the accommodations it guaranteed to us.
Customer Service with booking of a cruise
After booking and paying the $500 deposit, the company sent me an email for my birthday with a promo code to apply to my cruise but because I had already paid the deposit and booked it, I couldn't use it. It would have saved me almost $100. I asked if they could do an onboard credit or if I could rebook it for the lower price and in order to do that their is a cancellation fee and only partial refund. I thought they guaranteed their lowest price but apparently not if though I booked it directly through them. I'm already disappointed with them and I haven't even sailed yet. Their customer service is awful. They don't work with you at all. They could have just rebooked the cruise with the promo and they would have had my business and happy customer.
Pre-Cruise Nightmare: Deceptive Booking System & Zero Integrity
I haven’t even stepped foot on this ship yet, and I am already looking for a way out. Our family spent hours researching and coordinating our vacation plans, carefully reserving the excursions we all wanted to do together. The system allowed us to place them on 'hold/reservation.'
However, when we went back the very next day to pay, our reservations were completely gone, leaving only one single slot available. Do not be fooled by their 'reservation' options! They just want your money immediately. It doesn't matter if you reserved a slot; if someone else comes along willing to pay on the spot or has 'inside connections,' Royal Caribbean will sell your reserved spot right out from under you.
When I called customer service, I spoke with Monique. She sounded like she was trying to help, but it was a complete waste of time. Raising the issue got us absolutely nowhere.
If this is how they treat paying customers before the cruise even begins, I dread to see how it goes on the actual ship. The lack of integrity and terrible first impression is a massive disappointment. Because of their deceptive system, our family is now completely separated and we can't do our excursions together. Avoid booking with them if you actually want to do activities as a family.

Royal Caribbean didn't feed me Dinner for 7 days and when contacting them, they don't see anything wrong with it. BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!
Royal Caribbean sending misleading emails
I received an email from Royal Caribbean Cruises offering " Buy one get one free 50%" on their deluxe beverage package.
But when I clicking on the link the offer was reduced to 30% off only.
This is an attempt to con their customers . I tried contacting them but my emails were ignored.
Very Disappointing Experience
Very Disappointing Experience – Definitely Not Worth the Price
This was my first experience with Oasis of the Seas, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I am sharing this review honestly because the overall experience was far below my expectations, especially considering that we paid around $1,650 per person.
From the moment I entered my cabin, I was extremely disappointed. The room was not properly cleaned. The sofa was covered in stains, there was hair inside the cabinets, and the toilet was dirty, with visible residue and an extremely unpleasant smell similar to a public restroom.
I tried calling Guest Services to report the issue, but no one answered. I eventually had to leave my vacation time and go downstairs myself just to ask someone to come and clean the cabin. This is absolutely not how I expected my vacation to begin.
The food on the ship was average and definitely not impressive. The drinks were also very disappointing. Most of them tasted like flavored syrup with artificial coloring and a lot of ice. There were very few options that felt fresh or natural. Considering the price of the drink package, I expected much better quality and variety.
I also had a very uncomfortable experience with the drink package. Even when I simply asked for a bottle of water, the staff would not give it to me without taking my card and scanning it. What concerned me even more was seeing alcoholic drinks charged to my card that I had not ordered. I strongly recommend that anyone with a drink package carefully check their account and charges to make sure they are only being charged for what they actually ordered.
I do want to recognize the staff because they were one of the few positive aspects of the experience. They were kind, generous, and whenever I had a question or request, they were very helpful and did their best to assist me.
Unfortunately, the entertainment was another major disappointment. The parties had almost no atmosphere and were not enjoyable at all. The activities were also far below what I expected from a cruise of this size and reputation.
The pools were far too small for the number of passengers. With so many people around the pool area, it was almost impossible to actually swim or enjoy the water. Finding a lounge chair was also a nightmare. It felt like a battle just to find somewhere to sit and relax in the sun.
The nightlife for adults was extremely disappointing as well. There was very little atmosphere and almost nothing that made me want to stay and enjoy the evening.
The port stops were also very disappointing.
Our time in the Bahamas was only around five hours, which was simply not enough time to get off the ship, travel around, enjoy the beach, and actually feel like we had experienced the destination. By the time we got off and got organized, there was barely enough time left to enjoy anything.
The next day at CocoCay, the experience was even worse. The food was not enjoyable at all, and the sea water was extremely dirty. There were jellyfish everywhere, and we were constantly getting stung. We could not properly enjoy swimming in the ocean, so we ended up spending most of our time in the pool instead.
Overall, I honestly feel that this cruise was not worth the money we paid. For $1,650 per person, I could have planned another vacation that would have been much more enjoyable and actually worth the time, effort, and money.
I had high expectations for Oasis of the Seas, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst vacation experiences I have ever had.
This was my first cruise with Oasis of the Seas, and I can say with certainty that it will be my last. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone based on my experience.
I am sharing this review honestly and respectfully because I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and makes significant improvements for future passengers.
Royal Caribbean charged us $129 per day…
Royal Caribbean charged us $129 per week onboard gratuities, that is per person not per room, and when asking the guests service about she replied if you don’t pay it, the workers will not be paid the wages. Makes me feel bad if I don’t pay. bad experience with royal Caribbean. Never again please be aware.

We sailed on Liberty of the seas from Southampton UK. So pleased RC are sailing from UK. The ship was a good size. Easy to get around. The staff were AMAZING. all very helpful and wanting to please. Food was good.
Plenty of activities for all ages. Would recommend
Worst cruise I ever took
Worst cruise I ever took. Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas WORST food, excursions are more EXPENSIVE then anyone, rooms were filthy and beds were very old and hard.
Useless customer service and all around shady practices
I haven't even set sail yet and I'm already regretting purchasing this trip. These guys offer seemingly good deals, and then nickel and dime the heck outta you for everything... which is to be expected, but then when you do find an excursion or spa treatment that you wanna add to the trip, it is reasonable to expect to secure the service at the advertised pricepoint at time of purchase. They would disagree at Royal Caribbean. I paid with an amex for a spa add-on only to have the purchase fail to complete, and simply cancel. Once this is noticed, they have raised the cost for said service and will not honor their original cost at time of purchase, and furthermore, they will attempt to gaslight you in to thinking you're crazy for even suggesting that they make it right. I am not happy with this company, and I will do everything in my power to let people know that this is a shady corporation with awful customer service.
Very Disappointed with Royal Caribbean
Very Disappointing Experience
It’s like Butlins at sea!!!
Unfortunately, my experience with Royal Caribbean was extremely disappointing. I raised a complaint regarding our wedding anniversary experience and was later contacted by a member of the Royal Caribbean team. However, despite explaining my concerns, no satisfactory solution was offered.
What disappointed me most was the lack of effort to make things right. Even a small gesture, such as providing two photographs to commemorate our wedding anniversary, would have shown that Royal Caribbean valued our experience and cared about customer satisfaction.
I expected much better customer service from a company of this reputation. Sadly, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that there was little willingness to find a solution.
Very disappointing customer service and a poor way to handle a genuine customer complaint. I hope Royal Caribbean takes this feedback seriously and improves the way it responds to its customers.
Aggressive 10 out of 10 survey push by staff
I recently went on a 3 day Ensenada cruise from San Pedro on the Oasis of the Seas. Overall we made the cruise ok for us but what ruined the cruise is the service and main dining. The service desk couldn't listen and understand what we were asking. She answered questions we weren't asking, so it could have been a translation issue. When we tried to do things on the ship, for example, purchase the bingo cards ($49 for 4 cards which was the least expensive), the line to purchase them took us 30min to get to the front with only 2 people in front of us. It always looked like the crew didn't know what they were doing. The WORST thing about the cruise was main dining tho. Every night the waiter bombarded us with making sure we make a 10 out of 10 on the survey we were sent after the cruise. He went over the different categories in detail and when we asked for him to stop or go, he spoke over us and continued to go over the survey. The last night was the worst main dining night. Someone spoke over the intercom/speaker at dinner about the survey and that they needed to make sure every guest gave them a 10 out of 10 and that the waiter with the best survey score gets a day off and that they didn't get days off in their 7 month contract. It was literally 20-30 minutes of time share type pushing of 10 out of 10 surveys from guests. We had a group of about 40 on the cruise. None of us will go on Royal again.
For an international (supposedly…
For an international (supposedly high-quality) cruise company to defer email communication to phone.
I booked a cruise in March 2026 for a sail date of April 2027. In July 2026, RCCL changed the itinerary without notice. They have refused to offer any alternative that doesn’t involve additional fees.
I am extremely disappointed that this approach goes against their own policy, as stated on their website regarding‘significant’ changes to ports. They should offer a full refund.
In addition, the cruise is more than 8 months away. They have time to resell the cabin. Principally, changing two countries - removing Jamaica and Haiti and adding two ports of Mexico is a material change. I wouldn’t book a flight to Thailand and be happy if my airline said sorry we’ve changed the destination to Cambodia.
Poor decision.
Poor service.
One lost customer.
Do better RCCL. Your outsourced customer service is overly scripted, not understanding, and very poor at achieving a resolution. The senior escalation teams are also always unavailable. I’ve spent no less than 300 minutes on the phone trying to resolve this issue since the notice of change came through 5 weeks ago.

Recently I was on vacation with royal Caribbean cruise, I founded some dirt in my salad, hair in the food , you guys need to be careful about that cruise line!
Health Code Violations
On June 26, 2026, I embarked on a Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Sea cruise that concluded on July 4, 2026. Upon entering our assigned stateroom, I immediately reported to housekeeping that it was in an unacceptable and unhealthy condition. At the time, I was recovering from surgery with a surgical drain in place and was physically unable to climb the ladder to the Pullman (ceiling-mounted) bed. This medical condition is legally covered under the Americans with Disability Act. In addition, both of my children exceeded the manufacturer’s height and weight recommendations for the Pullman bed, making it unsafe. During the cruise, I reported black mold in the shower, rodent droppings inside dresser drawers, a heavily soiled sofa, and extensive rust throughout the stateroom. Because of these medical and safety concerns, I repeatedly requested reasonable accommodations, including lowering the Pullman mattress to the floor, providing a cot or rollaway bed, or relocating my family to another stateroom. All requests were denied. As a result, I was forced to sleep on the soiled sofa. The first night, I was also provided bedding with visible urine stains, and despite notifying housekeeping, clean linens were not provided. The head of housekeeping told me my family would be moved to another stateroom after dinner, but no relocation occurred. The following morning, Guest Services stated no staterooms were available, despite my observing other guests being moved. Relying on repeated assurances that we would be relocated, I remained onboard expecting the issue to be resolved. Instead, my family remained in the same unsanitary stateroom for the rest of the cruise. After returning home, I disputed the charges with my credit card company, but the dispute was denied because my continued presence onboard was treated as acceptance of the accommodations. This ignores that I repeatedly requested relocation, was promised a room change, and relied on those representations rather than leaving the vessel.
I signed up to take cursie called twice…
I signed up to take cursie called twice explained that due to money I could not afford to. They would even push out my trip. With out another 300. I asked for a refund off my 300 I was a week late
I think I should have got my refund back.
For my 1st experience taking a cruise this was a not a good experience. Very disappointed very upsetting they where not understanding
No service after the sell!!!!
Royal Caribbean is great until you have paid for your cruise and then all service ends!!! I have cruised with them many times and like the ships. However, we just had a terrible experience where American Airlines left us stranded and we were unable to make our cruise. Royal Caribbean was terrible in dealing with us. Call Centers and no one who has ANY empathy is all you get. Cruise with someone else!!!!!
Cruise with Royal Caribbean
I have just returned from a 5 day cruise on Adventure of the Seas. Although the ship is 25 years old it was far from a rust bucket. The maintenance crew have done a great job keeping it looking so good.
From the port to the ship is a fair amount of walking, so if you have mobility issues I'd recommend getting/booking a wheelchair.
The crew were nice and friendly and remember your name and things you might like.eg.towel animals, coke with ice etc. This helps to make you feel a little special that someone has taken the time to remember something small, that others might think is trivial, about you.
Each day there is a wide variety of food in the main buffet lounge, the staff are quick to clear the tables and wipe down for the next guests. There are plenty of hand sanitizers around the ship and eating venues.
Lots of activities for every age and every cruiser from rock climbing to sunbathing - loved the live entertainment (music and productions).
Cabins are a little on the small side if you have 3 adults sharing, even with a balcony. Cabins are serviced daily.
There's a couple of hidden financial extras - spa raffle, foot analysis and win a piece of art work. Don't feel pressured to part with your money!
I didn't get the internet package but a few people did and said it wasn't great.
The only issue I had this time was with accessibility. Yes they have great accessibility options for deaf cruisers, wheelchair access etc. However, I had injured my knee and found that every seating was low which aggravated my knee injury (couldn't bend knee without excruciating pain). Even in the disabled designated area in the buffet lounge the chairs and table were not height adjustable.
The disabled toilets were spacious but the seat was also low. The theatre was also the same. I needed assistance to get in and out of the chairs.
I had to take extra painkillers every day as there was no where to sit where I didn't need to bend my knee at a 90 degree angle.
I realise that my knee injury isn't a permanent issue, but for taller people it must also be an issue.
Hopefully, for the next new ship R.C. will take this into account.
