⭐ 1/5 – DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE! INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNACCEPTABLE ORDER MANAGEMENT.

I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Rue du Commerce. My experience has been nothing short of outrageous, marked by extremely poor business practices, unhelpful customer service, and a payment situation that I consider extremely serious.

I purchased an Apple Watch, choosing to pay in 24 monthly instalments through Alma. My order was successfully accepted, and the payment plan was approved. It was only after I personally contacted customer service to make sure everything was in order that I discovered the product would never be shipped to Italy, because the company does not deliver to my country.

WE ARE IN 2026! I find it absolutely absurd that an e-commerce website allows customers to complete a purchase and activate an instalment payment plan without adequately informing them of shipping restrictions.

But the worst was yet to come.

I exchanged numerous frustrating emails with a customer service representative named Jonathan, simply asking for a reasonable solution: to allow an international courier appointed by me to collect the product, entirely at my own expense.

The result? Repetitive replies, no genuine willingness to find a solution, and ultimately the unilateral cancellation of my order.

And this brings us to the most serious part.

DESPITE THE CANCELLATION, I WAS CHARGED TWICE THROUGH ALMA: €45.55 AND €52.30, FOR A TOTAL OF €97.85!

I am now left without the product, with a cancelled order and money charged to my account, without having received, at the time of my complaint, any satisfactory explanation regarding the refund process.

As if that were not enough, when I attempted to purchase the same product through another e-commerce website belonging to the same group, accessed directly through the Alma app, I discovered additional restrictions on instalment payments for Italian customers.

IS THERE EVEN THE SLIGHTEST COORDINATION BETWEEN THESE COMPANIES AND THE PAYMENT PROVIDERS THEY PROMOTE TO CONSUMERS?

I am not questioning a company’s right to restrict deliveries to certain countries. What I am questioning is the lack of transparency, the way customers are treated, the complete absence of practical solutions, and, above all, the fact that I have had to chase explanations about money charged for an order that has already been cancelled.

A reputable company should prevent situations like this, not leave customers to discover these problems only after completing their purchases.

Consumer trust is earned through transparency, competence, and respect. In my experience, Rue du Commerce has failed on all three counts.

I reserve the right to take appropriate action through the relevant authorities if this financial situation is not resolved promptly.

My advice? Think very carefully before purchasing anything from Rue du Commerce. Personally, I will never buy from them again.

An experience that deserves less than one star, if that were possible.

I ordered two products from two different retailers. The 1st product arrived from overseas in 5 days the 2nd within 14 days. All delivered in perfect condition with tracking information provided. Zero fees on delivery which was great

I ordered a Google Pixel 7 Pro on the website because my phone was broken.
After 4 days, they just cancel my order!! I essentially wasted 4 days without phone waiting for my new phone to arrive only to realize they never intend to send me any phone! Why did you list the phone on on the website then? And why did it take you 4 days to cancel?
4 days without phone for no reason!!

Notre micro-ondes Samsung encore sous garantie acheté il y a 18 mois chez Rue du Commerce a développé un trou pointu sur le plateau tournant en verre à cause de la chaleur.
Des appels vers Rue du Commerce m'ont indiqué de contacter directement Samsung. Deux semaines d'appels et d'emails à Samsung France ont abouti à être ignorés.

Our Samsung Microwave still under guarantee bought 18 months ago from Rue du Commerce developed a sharp hole on the glass turntable due to heat.
Calls to Rue du Commerce told me to contact Samsung direct. Two weeks of calls and emails to Samsung France resulted in being ignored.

Customer support was not very good but delivery and payment was done without problems

Very bad customer service. I ordered a fridge freezer, it did not arrive on the specified afternoon, no one contacted me and it has been a nightmare trying to get my money back. I have been given the run around and can assure anyone considering using this site that they are nothing like Amazon. Amazon know how to treat customers, rueducommerce are epouvantable. It is over three weeks since I paid this company and I have still not been reimboursed.
