No compassion

No compassion. I had high hopes for this funeral company but their communication and lack of empathy floored me. Mum had wanted a no frills cremation/no service. One of the representatives from Sacred Earth expressed surprise & sounded a bit dismayed that we were not giving our 100 y.o.mother a better send off "considering her age". Phone calls were not returned, mix ups with death certificate - all added to a stressful experience. I was given her ashes by a representative who cheerfully explained he'd "been moving house" and presented dishevelled in sweaty tee shirt, shorts & joggers; not really what I'd expected for a so-called professional organisation. Very disappointing experience.
