Best Indian in Bristol!
Mine and my partners favourite Indian restaurant. Food is fresh and really delicious. Everyone is really friendly and attentive. Would be 5 if the meat/sauce ratio was on point, more meat please!
Without a doubt the best Indian in…
Without a doubt the best Indian in Banbury. This restaurant is so special - the food is authentic and well thought-out; it’s a delight! I would throughly recommend it to anyone!
Make customers aware of Service Charges
Tried this restaurant for the very first time. Got to admit the food was good and tasty. But what I did not like, was the Hidden Service Charge they put in very small letters on their menu. When I asked for my bill, I was shocked on how much they charge, it really was a lot of money. When I then asked them about this, they just said it CLEARLY states on the menu. “If only”. I said, I won’t be back again and will not recommend.
Very nice food!
We had a takeaway from Salkaara in Banbury. The food was amazing and beautifully spiced. It's difficult to find a good Indian in Banbury, but we would recommend this restaurant. The staff were very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely. We'll definitely order again!
Not authentic Indian Restaurant
Not an authentic Kerala / Indian restaurant. Food is tasteless, portions are small and prices are steep. Kindly avoid.
V nice experience
We came for a surprise birthday meal. Lovely food and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely return
Never again
Never again. The vegetable biryani was mostly rice, the vegetables were raw, the sauce with the rice tasted like it was made from gravy granules and the curry sauce tasted like it was made from cornflour and cheap curry powder. The whole thing was drowned in chilli. Tasteless and inedible. A total waste of £17.00 - it was not worth £1.
Terrible expensive "powdered soup" curry
"Do you do takeaway?" "yes". No spoons. One of the waiters went to the kebab shop opposite and managed to produce 2 forks. Very helpful Chinese up broad St (Mr Rice) gave 2 spoons (many thanks). The curry was terrible and very overpriced. Sorry but it was just plain terrible tasting as if the sauce had been made from powdered soup. Never again...
