We’ve had a hard time

We’ve had a hard time getting and keeping doctors in our area. It’s a small rural farming location. My husband found a doctor after a few months. She completely missed his heart pumping at 20-30 percent. I just tried to see if we could get in with Doctor Evan who once oversaw my Husband’s care. They wouldn’t even let him see a different doctor due to being under the primary care of Dr. Elizabeth Robb. I was given a number we have to go through to try to change providers. I don’t know if any providers here are unrelated to Samaritan. I now travel to Corvallis just to avoid Lebanons hospital and urgent care after two misdiagnosis and lots of unanswered questions. My problems are solved while my husband’s is just beginning. I know too many unhealthy people with unsolved issues for such a small population.

I have also seen Heidi she treated me the same way and bachman was even worse really really hard to find a healthcare provider that you can get along with communicate good with and that will actually listen to you and do your background history before prescribing a medication

This review is about the experience I had in their Brownsville Clinic

This review is about the experience I had with Nurse Practitioner Heidi at the Brownsville Family Clinic run by Samaritan Health Services. I live in Brownsville, Oregon and have been going to that clinic for my Blood Pressure issues for over 10 years. I have seen several providers and was assigned to NP Heidi 3 years ago. I hadn't been in for a year and a half and made an appointment for Wed. May 22, 2019.

When I arrived I spoke to the office nurse who was nice, but she was pulled out of the room I was in by someone else in the office to see another patient. She was supposed to have briefed NP Heidi on my concerns.

Heidi came in and didn't know anything about what I had told the young nurse. I tried to talk with Heidi but she snarled and snapped and said 'do you want me to help you or not, I have a more important patient waiting in the next room'. I was HORRIFIED. So unprofessional, rude, and mean. I asked to see another provider there and she said I was not allowed to!! Samaritan Health has a male provider there taking new patients. I don't want to see Heidi again. She is rude, mean, intolerant and unprofessional. She prescribed a useless medicine for my BP and did not want to hear about what I was doing holistically to help myself.

The meds she prescribed did nothing but make me sick so I need something else but I don't want to see her again

I wrote to Samaritan Health via their website and got a canned response with phone number that only goes to voice mail. No one called me back. I wrote a message on their Facebook Page and no one responded.

It seems that Samaritan Health does not really care about individuals. I am shocked and disgusted and will have to find a provider outside their system since they will not let me see anyone else.

No communication at all from them despite my many attempts.

I plan to file a BBB complaint after the holiday.
