Sam’s club pulling some shady BS
Sam’s club was pushing their plus membership sales for month in anticipation for a drop 7/21/26 for the Pokemon Focused Fighter collection, the in store drop was already impossible with people lining up 2 days prior. The online drop was THE WORST possible online drop I’ve seen. Somehow before the release of the item it showed it was already in 1000+ peoples cart. I understand that they logged everyone out to try and stop bots but they kicked everyone out and for over 20 minutes people couldn’t log back in. Then they pulled the stock and from their initial drop at 11pm (EST) and then secretly restocked and released the drop at 2am (EST). This is some complete BS, they couldn’t provide any information or notice after they pulled the stock besides putting the word (HOLD) on the product name. These drop times are completely stupid for East coast residence. If your site cannot handle the volume, then don’t even join this space of releasing these type of products, this could of been easily avoided with a queue system or even Costco that does a randomized queue system to try and deter bots that join early. Overall Sam Club has pulled some underhanded sales manipulation for this product. Do better.
Couldn't get Pokemon
The website went down so I couldn't get the pokemon drop.
Wanted to get a couple of the pokemon…
Wanted to get a couple of the pokemon boxes on July 21 2026 but stupid scalper sams club logged me out of my app so they can cater to the apps that have bots that buy everything up. Thanks a lot Sams Club, this will be my last renewal due to you catering to the scalpers. Should be Scam Club
The store is fine though they lack…
The store is fine though they lack options. Would it hurt you to offer MtnDew zero? All the deserts habe to be some weord combinatiom of flavors instead of a classic brownie or cookie. "Oh you want a chocolate brownie? What if we had lemons and nuts to it.. would that work?" The scan and go option is great. Online drops and sams club excusive drops are a joke. They "put in measures" to prevent scalpers and create limits and then the employees take bribes to hook people up knowing they're breaking rules. If you say anything they kick you out. They let people make numerous memberships and then just hand 1 person a ton of the item so they can use each membership. The online server kicks you out moments before a drop and then crashes for the next 20 minutes while bots buy up everything. Put a 1 item per membership limit on things. Limit people to 1 membership. But they won't because its all just more money for them. I wont be renewing my membership with a Costco option right down the road. They're chickens are better anyway.
I pay 120/yr JUST to be able to buy…
I pay 120/yr JUST to be able to buy Pokemon cards in-store and online. Sam's club sucks at in store drops letting everyone and their brother cut because they don't give out vouchers at every location. Online is also the worst zero digital queue, zero anti-botting measures, they just upload stock and it's a free for all. Do better Sam's club.
Getting a refund is impossible
Order Pokemon cards online which is already a hassle to get with their website crashing and being a huge pain, but it's been 5 months with no update on their end so I'm tired of waiting for what I paid for and went to get a refund. Their in store customer service are incredibly rude and of no help and kept sending me to call their member service phone number. I've already called them multiple times with the same response of go instore or they can't do anything and seems all of their customer phone services are sent to phone operators in India as i've have never gotten a call with anyone that doesn't have an accent to their voice. Will be refunding my whole membership and this is why Costco is superior to Sam's Club
I am not a member
I am not a member, yet my Discover was charged 193.68 on June 30, 2026. Have not been in the store in over a year.
Dogs allowed in Shopping Cart
Dogs allowed in Shopping Cart, the same area where our food is stored! Just nasty and inconsiderate of shoppers. Please leave your fur buddy, home or stop allowing them to ride in public shopping carts because we need them for food and not your precious pet!
Diminishing quality meat!!
If you are looking for the absolute worst fake meat then Sam’s Club is your place. Not only have they dropped in options but the quality of food has drastically diminished.
Trying to order a cake ibajerys absolutely…
Trying to order a cake is absolutely AWFUL. I think they don't really want a bakery where people can order so they make I'd as difficult as possible.
After 40 minutes of trying to order, I still don't know if I'm going to have a cake for Father's Day or not
I was a customer for 10 years
I was a customer for 10 years. I ordered over $300 last week. My Sam’s credit card was rejected saying it was out of date. I called Synchrony 3 times and they said it was on the way. Sam’s would not even try to solve this problem. I used my Discover Card and had no problem. My credit score is over 800. So it’s not my fault. I canceled Sam’s credit card and will not renew my membership. 10 years SMH.
I like the products that Sam’s sells
I like the products that Sam’s sells, except they never have the flavors I want in stock. They are only available online and I have to pay high shipping costs to buy them. I am more likely to get it in the store or from Costco.
Extremely Frustrating Return Experience
Extremely Frustrating Return Experience
My experience returning an item to Sam’s Club has been incredibly disappointing.
I purchased the Backyard Discovery Grayson Peak Cedar Swing Set/Playset (Order #10416171365) and returned it. The item was picked up on May 20.
After weeks of following up, I was finally told that Sam’s Club had received confirmation from the vendor on June 26 and that my $964.18 refund would be processed back to my original payment method within 5–7 business days.
That timeframe came and went, and I still have not received my refund.
It has now been nearly two months since the item was returned, and I have spent an unreasonable amount of time contacting customer service for updates. Each interaction has resulted in another promise or another delay, but no resolution.
A return should not require this much effort from the customer. Once an item has been returned and the vendor has confirmed receipt, there should be no reason for a refund to remain outstanding for weeks. Having nearly $1,000 tied up for this long is unacceptable.
I expected much better from Sam’s Club. The lack of follow-through, poor communication, and excessive delays have made this one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. I hope this review encourages Sam’s Club to improve its return process so future customers don’t have to spend weeks chasing a refund that should have been processed promptly.
If there was a no star
If there was a no star. It would have been my option. Never again will I order anything from Sam's club on-line. It's been three months, they haven't refunded my payments. It took two months to pick up the items. I took it to the store, they refused to take it back. After finally picking up the items, they refunded half. They claimed to refund everything and that my credit card company was the problem. Can you imagine?
Rude and unhelpful sales associates.
Sales associates (or whatever you call them) are not only unhelpful, they are very rude. When I asked if they could look up an item to see where it was in the store they told me that I could do the same thing on my phone. When I asked another associate where an item was, they replied, “I have no idea”. When I asked a third associate where something was they replied, “ I don’t know. I’m knew”. Pitiful!!
They donot do their job at customer…
They donot do their job at customer service . A bunch of lazy and ignorant people . I gave them copies of my license but they cannot upload it .
They cannot resolve any issue
You want us to use scan and go
You want us to use scan and go. And then you want to double scan everything in my cart. After I did your job. Terrible. Either you trust your customer or hire more people to be cashiers.
Title: Repeated Shipping Failures and Poor Customer Support
I have been a Sam's Club member for years and generally like the products and value they offer. Unfortunately, my experience with their shipping service has become consistently unreliable.
My most recent order (#1043 5121 904) for three cases of Monster Energy Mega Can Zero Ultra ($109.65) was placed on June 27, 2026, with a promised delivery date of June 29. As of July 1, the order still had not arrived, and the tracking status remained stuck on "In Progress."
What makes this especially frustrating is that this is not an isolated incident. Since January 2026, I have experienced similar shipping failures more than 10 times, and likely closer to 20 times. An "Arrives by" date should be a reliable commitment, or at the very least customers should receive accurate updates when delays occur. Instead, orders simply miss the promised date with no meaningful communication.
Another concern is that Sam's Club places an authorization hold on the full purchase amount, tying up customers' funds while the order remains undelivered. Although the charge may still be pending, those funds are unavailable to use until the issue is resolved.
Customer support has also been disappointing. The AI chat assistant has never resolved any of these issues, wait times to reach a representative often exceed an hour, and callbacks frequently disconnect without another attempt to contact the customer.
I understand that occasional shipping delays happen, especially with weather or carrier issues. However, repeated missed delivery commitments over several months suggest a larger problem with shipping management and customer communication.
Sam's Club has excellent products and competitive prices, but the online shopping experience needs significant improvement. Customers deserve accurate delivery estimates, proactive communication when delays occur, dependable shipping, and accessible customer support. Until those issues are addressed, I cannot recommend relying on Sam's Club shipping for time-sensitive purchases.
No customer service in automotive
Customer service in the automotive section at the Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Sams' Club is non existent! I waited almost a half hour trying to just buy a marine battery for my boat and the people in automotive refused to wait on me. I had two different sale associates literally pounding on the door and windows to get someone to help me and they were ignored also. One of the sales associates even called a manager to try to get help and that accomplished nothing. I ended up walking out with nothing. Absolutely pathetic. I work in retail and if I did that to my customers I would be fired!
