Burscough Manor Care home is phenomenal.
Sandstone are the parent company of Burscough Manor Care home in West Lancashire. My Mum was a career nurse and sadly fell ill with dementia. Late 2024, it was necessary to liaise with social services to find a care home for her, Burscough Manor offered SS a place. It's been a tough period, with several trips back to hospital resulting is SS funding fluctuating, however, the staff at BM have been amazing in helping me help Mum. The staff are extremely engaged in the care of the residents and go above and beyond in their professional duties. My Mum was taken back into hospital with chest pains and as the family do not live close by, a member of BM actually accompanied Mum and when their shift ended, a second member of staff stepped in until my Mum was discharged. That is exceptional. Care in the UK is very expensive, nonetheless, the quality of staff is almost impossible to measure so BM deserve a special mention. The home is impeccably clean and well organised, they answer the phone and they go and find out the answers to questions you may have. If you are in West Lancashire, this home should be on your considerations list. Well done BM team.
