My customer experience has been absolutely terrible, trying to log in 1st time, user interface does not allow me to log in try to chat with live person and have to sign in. Try other service and AI won't transfer me to someone that can help.

Our Relationship is not off to a good start. I have not even made my first payment and I am annoyed with your service and process. Your website interface has issues, would not allow me to log in, the passcode you sent me changed before my eyes as I hit enter to submit it only to be told I entered the wrong number. Went through that six times or so before it would take. Reviews on this company I have read are not very good, I am hesitant to be confident about working with you at this point. Is your app available in English? The response from an agent was No English version...
Update 04.30.2026: Santander is truly one of the most difficult companies to deal with. To make a payment it takes 30mins on the phone and must speak to a representative because the payment system they use does not work. It feels like this is all by design and on purpose to extract as much money out of the customer as possible through fees, late charges and or any other additional methods to take advantage of the customer. Please contact me and prove me wrong. I have spoken with four different people at Santander and the above statement stands as true.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company allowed me to make a payment arrangement. According to the website all is good and I'm well on my way to getting back on track. However, I received a letter dated two days Before the arranged payment was made. It was regarding Notice of Delinquency. I called to confirm that the payment had been applied to our arrangement and was not only argued with that they were not going to honor the payment arrangement but I was also hung up on once and left on hold for so far 20 minutes because I'm still on the phone with them as I type this out. I'm looking into Ling Law to help me. Hopefully I won't have to follow through and they will honor their arrangement. I will update if anything good happens.
*Update* they agreed to honor the arrangement and apologized. Hopefully there will be no more issues going forward.

I wanted to set up autopay for my car loan before receiving loan information by mail. Representative #518993 sent me the information that I needed by email and gave me a thorough description of the information being sent. Using the emailed information I was able to successfully access my account and set up monthly autopayment. Thanks for the help!

Tried to set up our account - user name and password with security questions. When I asked for the text code to get in to arrange payments, your system would not allow entry despite sending the same code at least 3 times. (that doesn't sound safe to me).

I bought my car at the end of a lease. It's 5 months and Santander has failed to provide a title that allows me to sell the SUV. I have written dozens of emails, sent certified letters, and spoke to several reps. Each rep has no idea of the account history and will not transfer the call to a supervisor. I will never lease another product that involves this company. They are totally disinterested in assisting customers. UPDATE: Santander responded publicly, but the "help" was a phone number that routed me to a dial tree with no path to a live representative. I was unable to reach a person, or obtain a case number, title-resolution contact, or ship date. The title remains unresolved after 5+ months. What is needed now is a direct phone number to a live title-resolution representative who has authority to reissue the title and complete the assignment to my company New World Marine, Inc., along with a case number and confirmed ship date. UPDATE 2: As there is still no response from Santander, I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPB), the lead US government's agency that protects consumers in the financial marketplace.
