Bad experience. Be careful of hidden fees
We had received a gift from our family to stay here, as a surprise, therefore we where not entirely informed about what was included in our stay. We thought we would just ask the staff about what was included in our gift card. When we first got to the reception, they gave very conflicting answers about what was included which cost us some problems later on. Aswell as being super confusing and abit annoying.
We are a young couple and would like to go out and explore the surroundings of the hotel. But the hotel staff couldnt tell us about any points of interest in the surroundings of the hotel, and we where left to figure it out by ourselves.
We had also wanted to use the pool, but the pool was closed which was a disappointment.
There was a wedding going on when we where there, and the guest where disturbing doing our dinner and later on into the night.
The dining hall looks very nice and formal, but nearly all the chairs are old with either stains or tears in them, there where dead bugs found in various places throughout the hotel, aswell in the dining hall but thankfully not in our room, the balcony in our room did look like it could use a cleaning tbh.
Furthermore be careful of extra fees that are written in small, such as extra fees when staying in weekend or even just extra fees when staying at that particular hotel.
There was also fees that where not disclosed to us. We are not the biggest alcohol drinkers so we decided to skip on the wine for an evening, and then charged a good amount for water instead. In total the fees added ud to nearly 1400.DKK extra. On top of the 3000 Dkk it apparently cost in the beginning.
