I recently had a Schmidt kitchen fitted. My wife loves it a lot!

At the outset we only had a basic idea of what we we looking for and we found the designer, Clara, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She pulled together an excellent design very quickly which has surpassed our expectations.

We worked closely with Clara Hend, the lovely design consultant, who listened to our brief intently and really took on board our wishes. She then flew with the ideas, adding in some great ideas of her own, always bearing in mind the practical issues. She was very patient with our 'creative journey' and did everything she could to accommodate s at all times. We has some 'off plan' wishes, from the stainless steel large island top to a white wine only fridge, all of which were addressed and implemented with no problem.

The quality of the work, the swift communications and solutions and the general friendliness and accommodating attitude was really helpful at what can be a stressful journey. The installers were lovely and clean and tidy, and very swift! Schedule adherence was good and if Clara had a day off there was always someone at the office who could help.

The only criticism I would have can't really be directed at Schmidt nor Clara, however the part of the process that fell down was the hooking up (or the responsibility for such) of more complex plumbing. Most builder and plumbers are not experts at the 1st fix requirements nor the installation of more sophisticated equipment such as a Quooker tap or a macerator. I would suggest there are more explicit notes shared on this aspect when the plans are shared for the builder. This means the builder and the project manager (me - who knows nothing - in this case) will know what needs to be thought about in good time - these items affect the 1st fixed space planning for sure. Recommending plumbers who can actually do this aspect would also be a good idea - nice and early!

I would certainly recommend Schmidt, and Clara, as the aftercare continues where required (not much rest assured!). We love the kitchen and feel if something comes up were OK to talk to Clara and we know she will take it seriously and do what she can.

Clara is amazing!

I have approached several firms for my new kitchen, but they were either far too expensive or took a loooong time to deliver. Clara designed my dream kitchen and managed to deliver it in eight weeks. The design is beautiful and practical, the installation team is very professional, what’s more important to me is they do care about details and keep communicating with you. Highly recommend Clara!

We approached Schmidt Kitchens in Barnet plus a few other kitchen companies to design our dream kitchen. We sat down with the designer Clara to discuss our requirements. She was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable and produced excellent graphics for our proposed new kitchen. It didn't take us long to realise Schmidt was the one for us!

As we had our builders on site, it seemed a good idea on this occasion to have them install the kitchen. Clara made several trips to our home to discuss the install with the builders and answer any questions they may have had - Nothing was too much trouble for Clara. Our builders actually remarked on the quality of the products. Bob was also very friendly and helpful and accompanied Clara on a couple of site visits.

We found Clara to be very professional and extremely easy to communicate with. If ever she was unavailable when I would phone, she always returned my calls in a timely manner.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Schmidt. They took all the worry and anxiety out of this major project for us.

I have no hesitation in recommending schmidt kitchens (Barnet branch). They were totally professional in every aspect of the process. Our designer Clara was very helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. She guided us effortlessly through every detail and given honest and helpful advice every step of the way. We met both the managers, they were very friendly and professional. Overall, it was an excellent service from start to finish. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

My wife and I have been really impressed with Schmidt kitchens (Barnet). From start to finish they were courteous and professional. We were in the process of extending our kitchen and spoke to Schmidt when submitting our plans. Our designer Dovile was exceptional. We went through a few options with her on the best layout for the space and our needs and where there was an awkward space she came up with innovative solutions, which complimented the design and neatly filled the space. The fitters (Eliasz and Samuel) were also excellent. We would definitely recommend Schmidt Barnet.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen supplied by Schmidt Barnet.

Whilst we did encounter some design issues along the way which resulted in installation delays, the professionalism and patience of the manager Bob has been nothing less than exceptional. He personally took the time to ensure the installation was to our satisfaction and dealt with all our concerns and issues, fairly and swiftly. He literally bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with every aspect of the kitchen.

The quality of the product is excellent and we have been left with a fabulous looking kitchen.

Our initial warm welcome by Rashida whose expertise was clear to see as she explained why the layout she planed was the most suitable from both a practical and aesthetic point of view all whilst ensuring our requirements were met. The visuals she provided at the initial consultation were very detailed and allowed us to play around with different colour schemes which really helped the decision-making process. Along the way I had made number of changes but she was very patient with me. She always smile and said that is not a problem. Rashida’s design advice, to the finalising of the plan, the delivery and installation the whole experience was carefully planned and executed. Kostas and his installation team were outstanding with a proactive attitude and were very professional in their work.

We would highly recommend Barnet Schmidt Kitchen. Very professional service from start to finish with a smile. Their customer service has been great throughout the entire process. Excellent kitchen design delivered on time and good after sales support which is most important. Gave us the bespoke and unique kitchen with a Wow factor!

Schmidt Barnet were welcoming from the word go. Met by their enthusiastic and product knowledgable advisor Dovile we were shown all the benefits of a Schmidt kitchen including strength of drawers, colour finishes etc etc. during our comprehensive first visit. Being in sales myself I am normally a tad stand offish with fellow sales people but it was hard not to warm to Doviles infectious enthusiaism and that of the other staff/mamnagement that we dealt with during our initial and subsequent meetings.

Schmidt was NOT the only showroom/kitchen supplier we visited (in fairness my wife did most of the legwork) but we were drawn to Schmidt for four main reasons: 1. Their product inspired confidence. 2. Their staff inspired confidence (my wife got on famously with a very patient Dovile) 3. The showroom was not only conveniently close to our house it was also yards from a car park! 4. Price. Although not cheap the cost was reasonable and the team bent over backwards to try and make our budget stretch as far as possible.

As a semi pro cook my wife Tracy knew exactly what she wanted. White and handlesss units; functional base drawers rather than awkward cupboards; twin eye level ovens; steam oven; microwave; Quoker hot tap etc etc.

Our plan was extensive with 5 runs of units. Numerous changes were made along the way until we got it as right as we could envisage but Dovile always remained calm collected and very willing to assist as my wife made yet another visit to the showroom.

The actual fitting was carried out by Schmidt rather than a third party and I would advise that this is the best option as it keeps everything in house and any problems that might arise can be swiftly attended to rather than possible finger pointing if an outside contractor is used. As expected there were some very minor issues that we came up against during the fit but all issues were dealt with swiftly and proffesionaly.

I have my own estate agency and have already pointed a couple of my clents in Schmidt's direction such is my confidence in the team and the product.

I contacted Schmidt Barnet as I need a replacement cupboard hinge for an older Schmidt collection. I was not a direct customer of the Barnet store but they went out of their way to obtain the replacement cupboard hinge. Followed up to find out if the replacement had arrived and kept in touch regularly throughout the process. Exceptional customer service as well as excellent products. I know where I am going when I am ready to update my kitchen. Thank You.

My first impression on visiting the Schmidt Kitchens showroom in Barnet was the build quality and range of design met which surpassed my expectations. The showroom on High Street is very impressive and provides an excellent display of many kitchen designs and layouts. The ambience is welcoming and friendly and I was served by a professional design consultant who took time to understand my needs. I've been most impressed with her product knowledge and her attention to detail. She has a particularly good understanding of a sense of space and the use of colour, contrast and texture in preparing plans. She has been very patient with me as I considered all my options before choosing my kitchen. When it comes to fitting, the professionalism first encountered in the showroom extends to the fitters and craftsmen. They are tidy and as unobtrusive as you could expect, providing all their own equipment. The attention to detail at the design stage was so important as the accuracy of fit was perfect. Overall a wonderful experience and I'm really happy with my new kitchen
