My nerves quickly disappeared as Natalia came on the line and immediately put me at my ease. She guided through all the steps clearly and gave me time to understand everything. I was most reassured an... See more

Just phoned up Scottish widows to take some money out of my pension, I was expecting it to be difficult but it was exactly the opposite, the man I spoke to was really pleasant and went through everything step by step , I was really impressed
Had to ring as I was planning on reducing my monthly SIPP I'm taking as a pension. I'm never keen on ringing anywhere financial but this was easy and quick. The person I spoke to already had my details given you can enter them using a keypad, a couple of security questions and it was all sorted in less than 10 minutes. Professional, quick and friendly service. Very pleased thanks.
My phonecall was answered reasonably quickly (compared to some of the queues I have experienced with other businesses in the past) and I was then very happy with the calm way my call was handled and the problem overcome. I was led through the online process in a clear and effective manner such that all went well.
Very efficient and helpful, explaining all options and help that was available to me before making any changes to my pension.
The staff are very professional and explained everything in detail and they are very polite and treat you with respect!
Would thoroughly recommend them!
Trying to get through is an absolute nightmare, selecting a call back is hit and miss - line quality with some call handlers is awful especially if you have hearing issues. If you get transferred it just rings and rings.
I was eventually saved today by a call handler after waiting nearly 30 minutes. This is appalling, 30 minutes of my life I will never get back. But the person who took my call was a delight to work with. I gave two extra stars for their help and assistance.
I got the email with a link on opening the email I was informed there was a technical issue but no explaination, filled in the form as best as I could.
I've worked in a call centre environment, long wait times shouldn't exist, and can I point out not everybody wants to use a App on a phone to do everything - I have essential tremors in my hand and using apps on phones/tablets is a struggle in terms of accurancy.
Additionally I filled in the online complaint form on the website - no response or acknowledgement, so probably a mailbox that is not being monitered.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Invest Well webinars that have been taking place this month. The app is also incredibly easy to use and all the knowledge materials are written with simple and easy to understand language. Thank you!

I got 1.8 % on top of my original annuity quotation and I have numerous medical conditions like ischemic heart disease and after completing the medical form they came back to me with a £4.53 a month Extra annuity. I used to rate Scottish widows very highly but now I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

I rarely leave reviews, but the service I received from Tristan at Halifax Share Dealing was exceptional and deserves recognition.
Over the past few weeks, Tristan helped coordinate a number of sizeable account funding transactions across multiple share dealing accounts. Throughout the process he was professional, responsive, proactive and incredibly customer focused.
What impressed me most was the personal ownership he took from start to finish. He kept me updated at every stage, liaised directly with his cash team, checked transaction allocations, anticipated potential issues before they arose, and always came back with clear and timely updates. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
In a world where customer service can often feel transactional and impersonal, Tristan provided the kind of service that genuinely stands out. He combined excellent technical knowledge with a friendly, approachable manner and gave me complete confidence that everything was being managed correctly.
Thanks to his support, all funding transactions were completed smoothly and efficiently, including some time-sensitive transfers and allocations that required additional coordination.
A huge thank you to Tristan for his professionalism, attention to detail and outstanding customer care. He is a real credit to Halifax Share Dealing and Lloyds Banking Group.

Once I got thru on the phone the staff were very clear and concise with the details that I had to be aware of. My frustration was that I received emails and then 12 hours later the password to open the documents by which time I had blocked my access because I was trying the wrong password!!! The wait on the phone was quite long for general enquires but a lot quicker for a dedicated service.

Rang to tell them wife had died. She received a pension from SW. Received text asking me to send photo of required documents but didn't say what docs. Received email asking me to put in pin number to view email but not sent a pin number. Lady on phone was fine but subsequent messages totally confusing

Scottish Widows members of the staff are greatly trained. Their empathy and customer services skills are one of the bests in the market.

Even though I had updated my logon details as requested a few months ago, I am now unable to logon as these details are invalid. I have twice requested a link but that hasn't come through either. I keep being pushed to use the App but as I haven't got valid logon details I can't use that either. Tried the online chat but that was also unhelpful. When I got through on the phone I kept being passed to 'the right person' only to be put back into a call centre queue.
PS I have now had a call back from Scottish Widows and I was advised that as I had an annuity it was not yet possible to log in on the website to view the details.
I've been asked to respond to the information request from Scottish Widows which comes up automatically when you write a review. However all it asks is how I came by the website and that does not explain to me why I had a bad experience.
