Chesterfield store .we decided to go into store as we were passing and it’s been completely re vamped. The store is lovely set out and smells amazing . The staff was welcoming. We did ask about the company who had taken over the previous company and was told they are Italian designers and company . so we decided to order a sofa due to this . After we had ordered we received a email with the order . We realised they had ordered the wrong colour .
We called them to tell them they said they will amend the order and offered a £100 reduction in the total cost .
I was concerned about the mix up and it made me less confident about my order .
We returned back to store and raised our concerns . We have paid the deposit but now feel anxious about our purchase and spoke to another team member who was very pleasant . we was told then not only had the wrong colour originally order but the wrong materials
We left the store but my confidence in this company as now gone and I would have liked to cancel my order
I have spoken to the manager of the store on the phone and explained our concerns The manager refused to cancel our order even though it’s not due until the end of October. I was told by him even if you returned to store straight after ordering you still would not be able to cancel .
I found the manager very unprofessional and patronising as he could not understand why I was asking questions where my sofa is been manufactured !
I feel that I have been wrongly sold this sofa they have said it’s an Italian design but not manufactured there . The manager also denied the wrong materials been ordered we have been given conflicting information about things so my trust as now gone in this company . I have tried to email head office and phone them but no email address worked just kept getting them returned and no phone number either you only get 3 options when you call them the only person you can speak too is the store you ordered from . I want to cancel my order and the manager at the store attitude wasn’t great . I have noticed on other reviews people are having the same problem.

Service from scs chesterfield. Excellent. Delivery very poor. Told they would arrive between 8.50 -9.20. Still waiting at 11.00. Telephoned company told the van had broken down and they would contact when fixed and on there way. Received a phone call at 1.15 to say they had arrived at the address, very difficult to understand the driver I said we would be there in 15 mins he said no he couldn’t wait. Another phone call to say they would leave it on the drive I said No. Arrived and it was taken indoors. I understand accents are difficult sometimes but the rude attitude I didn’t like. We are both pensioners.

We were kept informed throughout our purchase the sales staff were friendly and had comprehensive knowledge of products. The delivery information and staff gave a fab service, tracking and timed information great. Lovely product, really pleased

Having ordered from the Chesterfield store back in 2018 I received very poor customer service, however the quality of the product is overall good.
Returned in 2026 hoping for better service and looking to replace previous sofa ready for a house move. We were told that we had to take delivery of the sofa within a certain timeframe to get the price we wanted because it was from the shop floor. We made arrangements for a third party to take delivery as we had nowhere to store it and were told we would receive a notification of a delivery time a week before that day.
Having not heard anything on the night before supposed delivery we tried to contact the store whilst making our way there. I made 4 consecutive phone calls, none of which were answered. We entered the store and two members of staff were stood right next to the phone but said to have not answered because they were busy serving store customers. Besides ourselves the store was empty. We were then to be told that the delivery had been delayed a week. No contact had been made to inform us of this.
Luckily all arrangements were made with the third party and they did take the rearranged delivery fine.

We have taken out an insurance with the store & are hoping if needed the customer service will improve.

The experience was excellent from start of ordering to the delivery. When ordering, the staff were extremely helpful and very informative making sure they listened to and answered my needs. The two delivery men were particularly helpful and made a very good job of installing my sofa in quite a difficult place.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, was a pleasure shopping with them. Lewis is a star and very helpful.

They was very good 2 boys .i am very pleased with my chair and settee.phoned me before they came.

Claire the sales assistant was warm , friendly and very professional, she helped us find a sofa that tick all of our boxes we had for looking for the right sofa to suit our family needs .

First time in the store. Both advisors were really pleasant, welcoming and helpful and most importantly there was no pressure to purchase. We did buy a chair and cushions before we left

Friendly and helpful staff who offered advice but left us to browse at our leisure.
Staff were on hand to answer questions and provide information such as measurements etc.
Great shortlisting service where our favourite options were emailed out for us to check back at home for sizing.
Plenty of fabric/colour choices, many available in store to see on display sofas.
Simple buying process with a range of finance options.

I was happy when my sofas came they put the sofas together but didn't put the arms on the sofas. i find it hard to put them on.

Delivery was on time and the lads delivering the sofas were friendly and efficient.

Sofa delivered in May. Wrong colour, wrong material. Contacted Company. Accepted it was their fault. Arranged for correct one to be made. Promised priority as their fault. It is now nearing end July. Customer Service just keep putting delivery date back. Used SCS in past not had a problem. No problem with store staff. Not a very happy customer.
