SUPER SCAM. This company should be banned by the approriate government agency. There are many people being scammed already, this is like a million monthly scam business. Insurance but never approve any claim. Insurance that dont protect your item the moment you paid for it. Insurance that portals and apps dont even work. Insurance that policies are not disclosed from the start. Insurance that is auto checked/embedded in the product. You'll get surprised that it becomes auto part of your bill. Very dubious way of doing business. Mind you, its an expensive one.

I used their shoppee merchandise protection, which was checked by default when you purchase something like electronics items.

When I filed an insurance claim, basically they showed me a clause of exceptions, which was funny because the only that will do is you can get back to the seller or refund, which is already available be default at Shoppe.

I told them what is the purpose then of the insurance that i paid for if i will be asked to use the regular shoppee route.

I got a generic response that "we understand that this is not what you want to hear.... blah blah blah"

Total SCAM......

They should be BANNED FROM OPERATING IN PHILIPPINES!!! SCAM COMPANY!!there merchandise protection in shoppee is a joke.
THEY HAVE MANNY EXCUSSES AND ACCOUSING THE BUYER TO HAVE ACTED NEGLECTED!!!
ALSO BEFORE PAY OUT YOUR CLAIM THEY FORCE YOU TO BUY A NEW ITEM!!

THE INSURANCE COMMISSION SHOULD BAN THIS SCAMMERS FROM OPERATING IN PHILIPPINES!!
