Thanks to the team at Seakargo for a excellent job in Shipping my Yellow Kombi form Cape Town to the UK.
They went the extra mile and helped with the NOVA in the UK as well as arranged for delivery to my home address at a very reasonable rate.
They also gave frequent updates on progress along the way.
I would defiantly recommend Seakargo!
Truly brilliant service…
This is a thank you email I sent to Ryan of Seakargo who in my opinion went above and beyond in assisting be with a shipment I had from Thailand to UK. This wasn't even his shipment or responsibility but he helped me anyway. He made; what to me is a very confusing business shipping things around, to be incredibly easy to understand once he explained it all, and the high level of service I had from him I haven't experienced in a very, very long time. Superb and tentative service very rarely seen nowadays. Thank you so much Ryan, and for anyone reading this who are needing some kind of reassurance, then please let me assure you, Ryan and Seakargo would be my very first choice without hesitation, you will find it incredibly hard to get this level of service from anywhere else, believe me I know, I have used shippers and agents for many years now from around the world to Thailand, Ryan is leagues above them all. Thank you again Ryan, really great step - by - step information, made my life a million times easier.
Hi Ryan,
That's fantastic mate, can't thank you enough.
If I ever need your companies' services in the future, I will absolutely call you first. Impeccable service and help. Absolutely brilliant.
I will recommend you to all my friends here in Thailand.
Kind regards,
Brian.
Incompetence and dubious charges.
This was by far the worst shipping experience I have ever had. Four months to ship a car from South Africa to the UK is unacceptable but of course it was banned on anything and everything except their own inefficiencies. Covid, Suez ....... They claim to move many cars but if a car sits in an agents warehouse in South Africa for two months before loading on a ship which did a cruise of the med and then unloads the container in Europe and then days later is transhipped to Felixstowe where after another delay of sixteen days the car was delivered. Incidentally, the ship had actually docked at a UK port before heading for Europe. Then, watch out for unsubstantiated costs (which you have to pay otherwise the vehicle would not be released). They charged an unusually high South African Customs inspection costs but refused point blank to give proof of what was charged claiming that it would expose 'sensitive' information. Yeah, what does that say to you? Still waiting for a reply from them but not holding my breath. Will never trust them with any future shipments.

Three Classic Cars Safe & Sound
Over the past seven years I have shipped separately three classic cars with Seakargo, in particular, calling upon the expert advice and assistance of Darryl Sutton. On each occasion the vehicle has been collected in the United States, safely transported to the depot, loaded and transported securely and without incident. Arrival has been tracked and unloading and clearance through UK Customs speedy and without issue. Altogether one could no look for a more courteous and expert service than that provided by Seakargo and its staff, who are always a pleasure to deal with. Michael Phillips

Got there in the end.
First got involved with them on October 2021 to import a car from the USA. On arriving at the UK, was informed the car was damaged during shipping. I had purchased shipping insurance so was not overly concerned. This was on 24 December 2020. Car was then forwarded to Malta where it arrived on 15th Feb and sent them repair bill on 1st March. It took 3 months to partially settle the matter with the insurance, who instead of deducting the quoted USD500 excess, deducted USD1000. After chasing and numerous emails, matter was resolved by Darryl after another 5 weeks of waiting, but got there in the end.

Worst company I have ever dealt with
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Had a car shipped to a non EU country from the UK. Car was over three weeks late and this company not once gave me a reason for the delay having emailed and phoned them numerous times. The agents they have appointed on the receiving end took over 6 days just to unload the car off the container so that they could build up the storage chargers (appalling and totally unprofessional). I would strongly advise to keep clear and go somewhere else because you will get ripped off here.
I would give this company 0 stars if I could
Awful company
Awful company. Have to start legal action due to failure to cancel and refund my subscription. Never received my account and paid for subscription. Due to long set up and failed promised deadline was have to find another company who done everything in 1 day.
Was dealing with sales man named Johnny.

Imported a car from Georgia
Imported a car from Georgia, USA to UK. SeaKargo explained everything I needed to know and everything I asked, on first enquiry they were more than helpful, explaining to me rules of importing, taxes, fees etc.
They also organise the shipping of the car by road to the port in the US and then filed all the paperwork to clear customs. The car arrived in the exact condition it left America, and I collected myself from the port in Felixstowe. Helped me with every question I had and even on the day of collection helped me load the car, even blew up the tyres and gave me a loan of a jump start pack.
Darryl and the warehouse lad that were there on the day deserve full credit and many thanks

I am today going to small claims court because despite two emails to Johnny I have not had a reply. I have given this company plenty of time to fix the problem.
No problems with delivery, but....
No problems with delivery, but I purchased freight insurance for my car and the company never sent me a copy of the insurance policy, even after promising to do so. So it makes me wonder whether it was ever insured!
Generally poor communication
Good Firm
first time ever importing any commodity into the country, and Jason really did educate me on the process. I was really pleased with the patience he took to talk me through at no cost. Although i am giving them a 4star rating cos communicating was some sought of an issue which was turned around after complaining to Jason. Darrly also a great guy. in my opinion there is still room for improvment. Over all am pleased container has been released to their warehouse. Thanks to customs for time lost. I am pleased with the firm and they would always be my agents from now on.
seakargo done Second job for us
seakargo done Second job for us . Used you twice now and both times great service.. And your staff very helpful
Avoid this company
Avoid this company, I had two race cars due to be shipped to the USA which remain in their warehouse with no sign of being shipped, 6-8 weeks later when my USA client requests to change shipping company they want to charge a fee, even when this is accepted they fail to refund the balance due. I have never come across such an unprofessional company in 30 years of business. Johnny do the right thing and refund my client.

Incompetence level…10/10
Incompetence and excuses from day 1 to day 730
Cost thousands in un recovered damages, almost 2 years to get the car registered not the 8-10 weeks quoted... Was finally delivered with no mot or reg plates filthy and damaged yet again.
Countless calls txts & emails never returned.
The single most un reliable unprofessional "company" I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.
Avoid at ALL costs.

Used Seakargo on a number of occasions. Always a reliable service at a good price
Jason gave 110% effort
We contacted Seakargo for some advise about one of our containers and a height restriction. It was a long shot so we was pleasantly suprised when Jason emailed us back - He asked the relevant information and went away to do some research for us (bearing in mind he didn't have too) he then gave us a phone call with information he researched on google maps with the heigh restriction and other access for us and solved the issue we was having. Never has anyone gone above and beyond like that, we are so grateful - thank you ever so much Jason. Hope to deal with you in the future!
Scammers
Don't get involved with them-they are scammers. Our case is currently under court investigation. Not only our car was never shipped to SA (waited for EIGHT months-well before coronavirus!), but we haven't been able to get our money back for TWO months now!
Don't believe anything they put on their website-all lies. There are only TWO people working in this so called company and they certainly don't do any shipping on a weekly basis (know from my own experience with them).
Trust only negative reviews as they are wriring positive reviews themselves. If you don't believe me-try to post a negative review on their website and you will see-it will never be published.
