No delivery made, worst service, lies, refusing to cancel an order

1. I called a local Sears in Montreal, Quebec, Anjou, to ask about an item's availability. The lady didn't even try to look for info, and when I insisted that she should, she put the phone aside and waited for me to hang up.

2. I ordered a fridge and a stove over a month ago. They started taking payments from my bank account, and told me they were supposed to be delivered last weekend (a month after the order was made). They called me once to confirm, then to cancel without citing any reason, then told me it was rescheduled to Wednesday the 7th. I waited a whole day on Wednesday but no truck ever came, then had to call them to learn that the delivery was finally re-scheduled to two weeks later because the items were actually out of stock even before I made the order.

3. I went to the store to cancel my order. The salesman refused as the deal was done with another salesman who was apparently going to be absent til next week. The superior was apparently not present either.

4. I've made an extra payment by mistake, and my shipping address needed to be modified. I had to make a total of 6 calls to get things done.

Please, please do NOT shop at Sears!

never expected to meet fraud company like this

ordered my comforter set 3 months ago, item never shipped and they don't refund the money. Made 27 calls and stayed on the phone for six hours. every customer rep lied to me that I will get my fund but they never did. What I can do? Sue them for 170 bucks?

THEY ARE FRAUDS DON'T TRY TO DEAL WITH THEM. I hate to talk about them but I hope no one will have the experience like mine.

Look somewhere else!!!

Sears is dupicitous and not trustworthy in its current administration. I used to buy everything from Sears; refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, stove, microwave, etc., BUT NOT ANYMORE. I bought a new forced air furnace from them three years ago and everything about the instalation, sales, promises, and the appliance was horrible. The heater sounded like a freight train was in the house when I turned it on the first time. It took them six trips back to supposedly fix things, but they didn't. It's still annoyingly loud. They said they would replace the old asbestos covered vents under the house with new ones. They did, with the cheapest things available that ground squirrels chewed through with a month, and I had to replace them to another several thousand dollars. And then they said I had a year without interest on the bill, but when the year was up, they charged me all the past interest without informing me they would. If you want decent appliances free of hassble and lies, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Anywhere is better than Sears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
