Company doesn't accept returns (even if they should cause it's compulsory for online shopping), and also customer service stopped replying (I asked them advice to resell my unusable weights since in their ballstretching guide they claim they can help you resell your weights if they don't fit).
BUY ELSEWHERE! Like chaingang, eBay or Etsy.
Ordered a stretcher that I weighed when it arrived and it was over 130g lighter than the one advertised. The response from the company was that the weights on the site are estimated. I could accept a few grams here and there - but over 130g is just not acceptable. I had to send it back and cover the cost of postage myself. Needless to say I will not be buying from these guys ever again. I say stay well clear and take your business elsewhere.
If it was possible to leave a zero rating then this company would get it. Ordered a tribal dream ring that arrived late, with damage to the ring itself so much so that it was impossible to use for the purpose it was intended. It had rough edges, a deep unpolished rough edge that was like scrape or cut and was not smooth as advertised. Workmanship was the worst I have seen. Plus the alan key that arrived with it was bent. Made contact with the seller as per the website - Dave. Now here is where things get far worse, it’s bad enough that the product arrived damaged and late but there is zero excuse for bad customer service. My emails weren’t answered promptly and when they did Dave was more concerned with getting his product back than offering a refund. I had to send it back at my own expense with Dave saying it would be refunded also. Sent the item tracked post which cost 20 euro and the ring itself costing 49.99 pounds plus delivery. Contacted Dave to say I have had notification (tracked post) that it’s been delivered to him and what’s happening about my refund? No reply sent a further email 2 weeks later requesting a refund no reply. This whole process has me 70 quid out of pocket and started almost a month ago. Will be reporting Dave and his company to trading standards and taking legal advice as by law I am entitled to a refund. Needless to say Dave doesn’t answer his phone either. Won’t be going away Dave by ignoring emails and calls shows contempt for customers and the refunds there entitled to - do the right thing and issue the refund offered by the law and advertised on your own website that your company says it issues. All time scales are met in the case regards refund policies so there is simply no excuses. SL Trading is secretleather.com
