Landlords beware- DO NOT USE THIS LETTINGS AGENT

Landlords beware. DO NOT USE this agent for letting your property. This small Lettings agent rented my property in Chingford and did not pay me the rent even though I signed a rent guarantee contract with him. Contracts and regulations mean nothing. He has lied throughout about a number of issues and delayed serving notice when I requested the property back. Property returned to me with missing household appliances and damaged and agent took no deposit leaving me hundreds of pounds in debt and is taking no responsibility. Don’t fall for the sales pitch and don’t be fooled by the incentive payment you’ll be offered. It’s not worth it. Find an agent with credibility and merit because this one possesses neither.

After experiencing all of this, I decided to take my case to the PRS (property redress scheme) which astonishingly, this agent is a member of.
They accepted my complaint in full, which tells me that all the evidence I supplied to them in relation to my dealings with this agent have a valid reason to take forward and investigate. The fact that this agent has behaved in such a way surely tells consumers what they do not want to deal with.
Also- consumers take note. Since I posted my review early nov 22’ (google, yell). Many fake reviews have gone up in quick succession from this agent. Yet prior to that, nothing. I fully expect the same to happen here.
My case with PRS has now gone to final stage and I’ve been told they’ve awarded in my FAVOUR- meaning this agent owes me compensation for his wrongdoings.

If all of this isn’t enough to put you off, I don’t know what is!

This is a true and accurate account of my dealings with this agent.
