Filled with false promises.
I complained about slow speeds so they set up a 5g wifi option too. Now none work. We even use an extender to signal upstairs. But the normal chanel and the 5g repeatedly don't work.
When you contact customer service they make flase promises. They also state that speeds are wired only, which is fair. But that doesnt mean I should be getting absolutely no signal wirelessly repeatedly. Around 2 to 3 times per day our wifi drops completely! No matter if its standard or 5g. They brush over that when you try to complain.
The CS agent also told me they could lower my bill as they recently changed prices and the plan I pay for is now £5 less. After about 10 minutes back and forth they realised that actually they cant change the price. So left paying £40 pm to get no wifi and just using my phone data. Stuck in a contract so you have no choice. They know you are stuck in a contract so dont want to help. I can assure they wont be getting our custom at the end of the contract

Awful company avoid if you can. This company offers contracts to new build developers which means when you move into one of their properties you have to have a broadband or phoneline package via Seethelight, personally I will never move into a property again where they have this contract and here's why.
I lived there for 4 years and had multiple drop outs each year. You can usually find the drop outs here which occur daily and often however it seems to be a blank page as it stands (maybe thats because it shows how bad their service really is). To find this page simply Google: "See The Light Incidents" and it'll be one of the fist links.
Due to the multiple dropouts and my business being internet based I would have to then buy unlimited data on my phone for a week for £29.99 as they give you no idea as to when your service will be back up running. Not only did I have to spend £29.99 everytime our line dropped I had to use my phone as a router via a personal hotspot which in turn has destroyed the battery (Another £120 to replace).
Over the years this company has cost me an excess of over £400 due to drop outs yet when you explain this and show them via their own website the dropouts which have caused you the inconveniance they are not willing to offer any compensation what so ever or even discount you from that months bill. Even though you've not used it due to the dropnout they still want to bill you for the whole month. The customer service is awful, they refused to put me through to a manager so I could try and get a reasonable answer. Finally I required the invoices I've paid over the last year for accounts purposes, something else they are very reluctant to provide. After phone calls and emails they have still failed to send me the invoices. They are continuing to chase me for £26.99 for the final month of my contract which I am obviously not paying after the excess payments they have caused me over the past 4 years. This is now going to affect my credit score which luckily for me I'm not bothered about but if you are, avoid because they will trap you and it cost you more over the years and affect your credit score at the end of it.
Avoid at all costs they only want your money and do not care about the customer. Remember to bare in mind when renting a new property to check the developers aren't tied into one of these contracts because you can't get out!
Thanks for ripping me off See The Light, all I saw was darkness.

Performance and reliability was very good in my experience, friendly staff, generally not much hassle. Pricey though, and existing customers are kind of punished for staying. Payment methods are 15 years out of date.

Very poor!
We have only had this service at our new build for 9 days and the connection is awful. It keeps dropping out and is very unreliable. It does not deliver the speeds promised. It is so bad we are changing provider already. I would strongly say use another provider as this is very unreliable.

I spoke to a lovely customer services representative at 8am this morning. They went through all the options of why my broadband had dropped from service. They offered a next day engineer appointment which I acceptedanns thought how quick is that. At 12 I received a call from an Engineer Mo who was so polite and said if I was in now they could see me so within 3.5 hours my issue had been fixed due to my router power supply unit had blown
I have finished my contract but with this exceptional service I will not be moving to another supplier
Well done one happy customer

Started off quite well but went downhill quickly. I was paying for 900mb but only getting 260mb. I was told I had to get a laptop and run tests. After hours and hours of phone calls I cancelled my agreement. My new provider is much better. Staff unwilling to help, compensate or do what is right for the customer.

I have been experiencing problems with my Sky TV for approx 10 days on & off which became increasingly annoying. Having spoke with numerous agents in those 10 days on different calls to customer service I had the fortune to eventually be connected to Robin in the South Wales office. After a lot of investigation she managed to resolve my issue, she was patient understanding & very competent. Thank you Robin you managed to resolve an extremely frustrating issue. Your manager should give you a well deserved pat on the back for your competence.

I have recently signed up to seethelight. I had a little technical glitch and contacted the customer service team via WhatsApp. The response I received was excellent. The issue was promptly resolved and the customer service from Elma was wonderful.

I had really slow Internet speed of 15 gig after talking to the young adviser she advised me to set up the new router they had sent me. After an hour on the phone she had patiently got my speed up to 160gig changed my router password to one i could always remember which as made setting up my devices, a child's play.
I cannot thank her enough

3 weeks without internet and still counting. We are made to pay £48 for 300mbps which is o much more expensive than its parent company sky. Just extorting the fact that we don’t have the major service providers in a newly built area.
3 weeks in and I haven’t gotten a single call back from seethelight - just me going back between ofnl and my provider for updates. I shouldn’t even be speaking with ofnl according to ofcom rules. And after all them seethelight have the nerve to charge my monthly direct debit even though I have no service. Just pathetic

Answering was slow but once I got through it was a great service
