Shady Practices, No Follow-Through
I was targeted on social media with a SelectSoftware Reviews promo that seemed to offer a gift for engaging with their vendor-matching process, but after I completed the key steps, including taking a demo with an introduced vendor, the redemption process suddenly became vague and misleading.
The promo claim form asked for more my experience, my personal information, my company/contact information, home address and other info. After completing, the form said I “may or may not” be eligible, which felt misleading and raised real concerns that the promo was more about collecting buyer data than honoring the advertised incentive.
When I flagged these concerns directly to the rep Zach, he stopped responding, which only made the whole experience feel more suspicious.
