Bought a dress, received it and it was nothing like the picture. They told me to return it and once they receive it they will refund me. For 6 months the dress was lost in thin air as the tracking just said it was in customs in China. Then after 6 months I received the dress back with a note that said nothing and no refund. Don’t bother with this website. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE

I purchased an outfit from this company, received an in voice and waited. Nothing happened for a month so I sent them an email and they responded telling me to wait patiently. After 2 months I sent them an email which resulted in an apology. I asked for my money back and no response can’t get a website nothing now.
The outfit was for my wedding and now have to find something else in a hurry. Do not ever give these guys any money….

I placed an order over 3 1/2 months ago. I've received 1 of the 3 items ordered. I told them to cancel the rest of my order and refund the balance. I was told a 15% restocking fee would be charged even though the remaining two items haven't been shipped yet!

The company is a scam. I ordered 2 dresses. One showed up and it was pure garbage. Not even worth it using as a rag. I immediately emailed because tracking showed the other had not shipped. Asked how to return what i received, and that they not even bother shipping the other and give me a refund. However, all I repeatedly got was emailed responses of someone acting like they didn't understand my English and telling me my dress ship soon! This has been my response for about 5 or more emails now.

I’ve ordered with this company-the only thing they are good at is taking your money! I received one garment out of three-no where close to Correct size-I’m not even sure it would fit a child! Also advertised as lace but had a low grade at best iron on flower pattern! Do not order from this site! If I could post pictures I would just so you could see what I ordered and what I received! Ordered July 20 still Haven’t received a refund or remaining garments.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Semmil.com. I placed an order on July 22, but quickly realized the item wouldn’t arrive in time, so I sent a cancellation request just 4 hours later. They rejected my request, falsely claiming the item had already shipped—yet the tracking showed “awaiting shipment” for days.

Despite their dishonesty, I agreed to go ahead with the order. The item finally arrived very late and was nothing like the photos:
• The “beaded” design is just a cheap print.
• The fabric is poor quality, flimsy and not what was described.
• The style doesn’t match the advertised product at all.

When I complained, they told me I could return it—but only if I paid international shipping myself, and declared it under $15 to avoid customs (which they explicitly said they wouldn’t cover). This is completely unethical, especially when the product is clearly misrepresented.

Semmil.com’s practices are deceptive and unprofessional:
• False advertising
• Refusal to take responsibility for poor-quality goods
• Misleading shipping claims
• Shifting all return costs to the customer, even when the fault is theirs

Avoid Semmil.com at all costs. They do not operate with any form of integrity or customer care. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch scam. I only wish I had read reviews like this before ordering.

I ordered my dress over four months ago and still have yet to receive it. I've emailed asking for an ETA, however, I always get the response "Sorry for the delay.The items are very popular, so the order arrangement will be slow. I will urge the warehouse and logistics staff to send them out for you as soon as possible.
So Please wait for it patiently and thanks for your understanding! Thanks for contacting us and sorry for keeping you waiting." They asked if I wanted a refund, which they were going to keep a % of the money returning to me. Very disappointed!!!

SCAMMERS RUN FOR YOUR LIFE
I ORDERED A DRESS FOR MY WEDDING AND A DISGUSTING PIECE OF MATERIAL TURNED UP. THEY TOOK MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY AFTER ORDER. I TRIED TO CALL, EMAILED 20 TIMES NO DRESS, KEPT ASKING ORDER NUMBER OVER AND OVER.

I, like many others, have been scammed. I ordered a beautiful sequin dress from semmil. The dress came and not one sequined bead or anything else was sewed on. The dress looked like it was just put together with pieces of fabric that look like they had a really lite print of the sequins. No actual beads, sequins were on this dress. Do not buy from them. Then they still had not processed my other item s and I asked for them to be refunded as well. They said oh we will ask the shipper to send it out. I wish I could get my money back, but it looks like I have a battle on my hands. Horrible. Save your money.

The Semmil Company is a total rip off. Save your money and don't buy anything from China.

THE DRESS I RECEIVED IS TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! It looks like a child sewed it with thread that doesn't even match the color. The material is inferior and totally see through. Doesn't even have a label or a size on it. I wish I would have read other reviews before trusting this company. I'll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and filing a dispute with my bank.

To my regret I paid for 3 items on July 14th and the 2 other items still show awaiting shipment. I've emailed them twice and they have not responded. Poor Customer service...or rather NO customer service.

My parents bought 2 dresses from them in hopes of visiting an upcoming wedding, dresses in total around +$100. They were in fact shocked and upset of the low quality material used to make these dresses; and they are completely different from the images shown on the site. Now they're in the process of hoping to return them and get a refund. Just DON'T order from them at all.

I wish I could rate them a big fat 0. This company is a scam, fraud, deception and flat out gimmick. I had my heart set on a dress to wear for my milestone birthday celebration. After about 2.5 weeks the package finally arrived. With great anticipation I opened the package immediately…only to find a joke of a piece of fabric. The dress looked like a child tried to duplicate the dress that I actually ordered. The material was not the same dress, it was a cheap polyester fabric that was about four sizes too small, when in fact I ordered the correct size. I was almost in tears at the fact that I had my heart set on wearing this dress for my party, and the fact that I had been taken advantage of. I WARN YOU, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING, I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. You can Forget about getting in contact with them, I sent an email and have year to hear back from anyone. Run don’t walk away from this website.

I placed an order for 4 dresses. After I placed my order I received an email.from my bank asking if I made a purchase from this company as it was suspected of fraud. I went to my email from Semmil within 15 minutes of placing my order and requested the order be canceled. This was with in their 24 hour cancelation with full refund policy. I heard nothing back from them so I sent a total of 3 emails within the 24 hour period. When I did hear back from them they told me that if I wanted to continue with the cancelation that I would be charged 15% of what they item is worth. After several more days of emails going back and forth I reached out go my bank to file a fraudulent claim. My bank issued me a full refund within 24 hours.

THE WORSE ONLINE CLOTHING SCAM EVER. Miniature see through pieces of material. The only way l figured out where it was from was by the color! I hope l can get my money back but they show 1 picture & do not send you anything that even looks like it.

I ordered a dress for my daughters wedding. The picture was of a lovely navy blue dress I received a sheer purple dress that isn't even wearable. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING, THEY REFUSE TO MAKE IT RIGHT UNLESS I PAY TO RETURN THE DRESS THEY SENT ME FROM CHINA

Semmil is a scam, a fraud. I bought two beautiful party dresses from the website. I received one that's pure garbage. It's useless. It looks like a cheap little girl's costume.

My mum ordered a dress from them for it to arrive before the date we were to go to a party, with express shipping. Always in transit, then they tried saying that "oh. It's very popular" which is why it's taking so long..
They won't issue a refund and I want to help my mum try and get it back but she doesn't want to go through the hassle. Makes me sick. $60+. wish the site would get shut down.
These are scammers. Beware when shopping online, Facebook etc. Always, ALWAYS check before ordering something.

The only reason one star is issued is because there is no alternative for zero star. The company is entirely focused at scamming you. Two dresses ordered but only one delivered and no refund given. The so called dress received was a complete disaster. Stay away from this scam company.

I ordered 2 gowns from this site in June and paid for express shipping 7-9 days. I received the order in July and I was disappointed when I opened my order. I received what looked like cheap sheer patterns of the gowns. I tried to contact them for a refund, but the number on the site was not valid so I emailed them and they told me I would receive a refund once they received the garments back. They told me to mail them to another location with tracking number at my expense that would be refunded if not over $15 because they do not pay for customs. I was provided another phone number for questions only to find that it is listed as another company with a scam alert . To date I still have not been refunded.
