Corrupt resort

I arrived on October 21, 2025, to celebrate my 63rd birthday. From the outset of my stay, I experienced multiple instances of unethical, deceptive, and exploitative conduct by resort staff.

The initial room assigned to me was unacceptable. The concierge, Felix Ozuna, advised that a suitable room would only be available if I paid an additional $200 USD in cash. When I stated that I only had $150, he agreed to accept that amount, required payment in cash, and provided no receipt or documentation. I believe this money was taken personally and not processed through official resort channels.

Despite informing staff multiple times that my birthday was October 23, no acknowledgment was made. When I raised this concern, I was given a cake the following day, bearing another guest’s name, which appeared dismissive and insincere.

During my stay, a resort employee, Yuli Mercedes (also known as July Angela Mercedes Gautreaux), befriended me. After I returned home, she contacted me with emotionally manipulative claims involving domestic abuse and a seriously ill child and requested financial assistance. I sent money as a loan. Once the funds were received, all communication ceased. I believe this was deliberate financial exploitation of a resort guest.

On my departure date, Felix Ozuna arranged transportation to the airport. The taxi attempted to charge $95 USD for a ride that customarily costs $25 USD, indicating price manipulation involving resort-arranged transportation.

I have attached photographs and videos documenting medical treatment, physical condition, and contextual evidence related to these events. These materials are provided to demonstrate the seriousness and impact of the resort’s conduct.

I respectfully request a full investigation into this matter, including staff conduct, cash payment practices, transportation arrangements, and guest safety policies.

Sincerely,
Brownell Blackburn
